Corn
Healer use: Cornsilk is a stimulant and diuretic. It is also soothing and used to treat liver ailments and high blood pressure. A silk poultice draws puss from wounds. Empty cob treats bleeding, and the roots and leaves treat urinary difficulties.
Cooking use: Vegetable that can be boiled, baked, or roasted, as well as being added to soups, stews, and other dishes. It can be pressed to provide oil for cooking.
