Woodruff

Flowers: small clusters of brilliant white flowers in late spring
Height: grows to 45cm

Healer use: Leaf tea is used as a diuretic and a gentle sedative for children and the elderly. Bruised fresh leaves are an anti-congestant for wounds.

Other uses: Dry leaves are used to scent linen. Rhyzomes yield a red dye.
