G'nir congratulated N'call on winning Onnyth's Flight, again and made the younger bronzerider an offer which would give him more experience in leadership. N'call gets to try different, currently free positions in the Weyr.
D'kere held a class of Mating Flights to the group of senior weyrlings, with Devyn helping him by telling from her experiences.
Aluka's and Ilyssia's easy friendship has changed and they find themselves awkward around each other. Aluka having naughty dreams about Ilyssia doesn't help.
Nokala invited Aluka to be a part of the harper band during the Hatching Feast.
After finding out what happened to P'nal, Talwynn took Harki something to drink. Getting drunk is one way to deal with grief.
D'kere founded out that Ninaine is pregnant.
K'ran took the gold weyrling Genna to visit the beaches of Ista. They learn about each other's past and for a brief moment, Genna is worried that K'ran is related to someone she knows in Amber Hills Hold.
Aluka helped Genna to was Lissath and ended up singing for the young gold. She seems to have taken a liking to Aluka.
Genna went for Paetri for bit of an advice and just to have someone to listen her worries.
Aluka also met the Weyr's newest candidate Rohagelen and agreed to show him the way to dining cavern. He's worried how the lad will survive the Weyr. Rohagelen was welcomed to the Weyr by Yanley, former Lady, now an assistant headwoman.
The Weyr's leadership, G'nir, Saibra, K'ran and J'darin meet to assign the Weyrlings to their wings. It's the last of such meetings for J'darin.
W'ser and Sasima managed to spend some quality time together.
T'nom also transfers in from Dolphin Cove Weyr. After meeting the Weyrleader G'nir, he's welcomed by K'ran to Cyan wing.
J'darin's first Threadfall day as a wingrider had tragic ending when Devyn is Scored. Just when things were going so well between them. How badly she's injured remains to be seen.
Ilyssia moved to her very own weyr. She had a nice chat with Genna.
K'ran found out what it really means to be Wingleader and solve everybody's problems. Even those who don't belong to Wingleader.
And the moment Ninaine dreaded finally arrived. Her dragon rose to mate. Winner was not N'call but K'ran. How will she deal with it?
Rohagelen also ran into Talwynn, his first encounter with a female crafter.
The at last, Onnyth's Eggs Hatches. Teseada has other news to N'call too. Looks like the Weyrwoman's Second is egg-heavy too. Rohagelen Impressed bronze Iroth. Congratulations to him.
Rhosyn shocked everybody (at least G'nir and Saibra) by attending Onnyth's Hatching Feast with bluerider K'mai as an escort. The question of the day was: Where is K'sedel? Rhosyn also met her sister and found out she has nephew who just Impressed. She asked later to G'nir to keep an eye on the boy. Aluka performs with the harpes at the Hatching Feast.
Harki received a letter from the grave..or more likely finally read the letter P'nal had left behind to her.
