Dragonsfall has been very active this month! Many of it's residents got out to meet new people, have a little fun, and get involved with a little drama.
Poor E'naer is still having to deal with moody, short-tempered J'nev. The greenrider was trying to encourage the bronzeweyrling, but it blew up in his face when J'nev took it as a sign of mistrust. E'naer lost his cool and reacted in a most unprofessional manner, though few, I'm sure, could blame him! Weyrleader T'mahl certainly seems to be on the greenrider's side. E'naer told him about his troubles over lunch while they discussed possible wing placements for the weyrlings. They will be graduating soon! Who's wings will they be put into I wonder...
Imarre also seems to be having a tough time, though the month started out well enough for him. He met M'yex while he was washing his green Enyth. The greenrider assured Imarre that having a lifemate was well worth all the hard work. Imarre must be wondering if having a human lover is equally worthwhile after the trouble he seems to be having with Maret. Though Maret is quite comfortable in their relationship, it seems Imarre is still not quite ready to accept the openness of the Weyr. Maret seems to be getting pretty tired of Imarre's constant negativity, while Imarre wouldn't mind a bit more understanding. Are they headed for trouble? Or will they make things work?
Telemon also had an uncomfortable encounter with an openly flirty visitor from River Bluff. Greenrider R'sedel brought an old lady to Dragonsfall for the day and found distraction in Telemon's beautiful eyes while he waited for her. The Weyrhealer wasn't sure how to take the attention at first, but R'sedel finally won him over, as he seems to always do, by assuring him that while he may flirt, he would never push himself on anyone. He just wanted to get to know the man better. Could the Weyrhealer be more open to making new friends now?
The Headwoman had quite a nice birthday with her family. It seems they all descended on the Tatitem, children and grandchildren alike, to wish her a happy birthday and make the evening a special one for her. They decided to go see the dress rehearsal for a play one of the harpers was putting on.
Tatitem later found foster mother Irlani and asked her to do a favor for her. One of her workers was in need of a foster mother for an evening, and Irlani was more than happy to take him, despite all of Tatitem's warnings that he could be a handful. It seems Irlani takes a lot of joy in her work.
Irlani also had a chance to catch up with Aileyan when she returned Ravyan to her for an evening. The greenrider was concerned that her mood had been effecting her son. The foster mother listened to her troubles patiently and sympathetically. It seems Aileyan is a little heart broken over Ednan.
Aileyan looked for comfort in an unlikely place. Well, perhaps not so unlikely. She chose to approach Wingleader U'kaiah for a little distraction from her problems. The bronzerider, as always, was more than happy to oblige her, though he made sure she understood that it would be only for the night. Aileyan assured him she wanted nothing more. She is not accustomed to finding bed partners casually. Will this make their working relationship more difficult from now on?
It seems the greenrider isn't the only one looking for a little attention from U'kaiah. Weyrling Kamalia worked up the courage to finally ask him to help her gain some experience before her green rises. To U'kaiah it's just helping out a friend, but in Kamalia's imagination it seems to be a bit more. His invitation to have dinner and get to know each other better has turned into a romantic evening in her mind. How will the evening go?
