The past month has brought visitors to Dragonsfall from Dolphin Cove. On m3 d19, the residents of Dolphin Cove Weyr were hit by a hurricane which forced the relocation of their queen's two day old clutch. The Weyrleaders of Dragonsfall welcome Weyrwoman Traelyn and her gold Nyith back to the weyr until her eggs are hardened enough to return to Dragonsfall.
U'kaiah and Traelyn spend some time together at the end of the day after Threadfall and the transfer of the eggs were done. She takes a bath in his bathingpool and sleeps in his weyr after being told to get some sleep from her gold who was not comfortable in a strange hatching ground to sleep.
A few days later,Traelyn visits N'vanik who leaves her in his weyt to go be with Talryne. This comes after they decide that they are drifting apart. Talryne was worried that he wouldn't come back and was going to drink to get herself to sleep if N'vanik hadn't come back. N'vanik reassures her that he came back because he wanted to not that he was worried about her. Talryne and N'vanik have an akward moment after he loses a flight and sates his lust with her. She remembers all that she won't be a part of now and they end up reassuring each other of the fears they have.
D'ryne gives Hartam a tour of the Weyr after spending time at the Vinter Hall's Tavern. The pair discuss the freedoms of the Weyr and what attracts women to them.
R'haran and the children visit Taia to see the puppies and end up talking about whether or not she had a family. The discussion turns into the children telling them that they think no one wants them. The greenrider gently reminds them of all the people they had who wanted them. R'haran talks with Kiala about family and her candidacy. She offers to show the children some of the tame runners if they were interested. R'haran is reminded of his craft when he talks to Corder who notices him playing the gitar. They discuss the children's future and Corder mentions Taia deciding to keep the puppy.
Birigundi goes with Rigella to her check up with Weyrhealer Telemon and gets the impression that the healer doesn't like him. Rigella tells him that the Master healer is from a hold and probably doesn't approve of a lot of things weyrfolk do.
