In early month 3 Hallmaster Leisenn has the pleasure of meeting Dolphin Cove Weyr's youngest weyrwoman, Meledei, while they are both out walking.

In the middle of the month Master Taraglan's harper journeywoman wife visits the Dolphin Hall to see if the place will impress her as much as it appears to have done her husband. She meets up with Renada, who moved down South from their Hall.

Leisenn catches up with Master of Apprentices Mahantan and gives him one last chance to express an interest in the Hallsecond job. When he does not, she send a message north to Taraglan offering the job to him. He accepts.

Also in the middle of the month Leisenn consults journeywoman Trellyn about apprentice Ednan's promotion, not realising that Trellyn is in a difficult position giving him a recommendation.
