Good in the Sack

Description: The two of them end up together after a greenflight since Jodeth is awesome!
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 10, day 8 of Turn 7
Notes: Mentioned: Harki, U'kaiah

Aileyan woke up to the feeling of cold air against bare skin. She reached
out for a bedfur and met a warm body instead. That woke her up full. Yes,
Kjarliheth had risen. No wonder she was cold. The season might have turned
to spring, but the mating cots weren't heated and it wasn't that warm
outside yet. She had no idea who had won this time.

P'nal had never been a quick riser, especially after a flight. So the
greenrider's touch merely elicited a groan in response. The solid bulk of
the brownrider was splayed on the cot and was emitting quite a bit of warmth
despite the chill.

Aileyan lifted her head to look who it was. P'nal. Not bad choice from
Kjarrie, she decided. He was brownrider and nice person based on what little
she knew of him. She burrowed herself closer to his side. He was warm. She
pulled his arm so it was wrapped over her body. Much better. She made a
little purr.

The movement was enough to stir him and he adjusted his body to face her. It
wasn't hard for the big brownrider to still cover her though. "Mmm what do
we have here?" Never one to hop right out of bed after a flight, he pulled
his head down to smell Aileyan's hair and nuzzle her some before bringing
his arm to pull her closer.

"One chilled greenrider," Aileyan's voice still held the purr.

"Perhaps we should fix that." First he pulled up the bedfurs which meant a
bit of moving on his part. Then when they were snug under them, he pulled
her along his front to warm her quicker. Of course the contact was enough to
turn his wake up into something better. He reached a hand out to explore
her, wondering if the invitation was still there.

Aileyan was more than welcoming him. Her hands slid along his skin, feeling
out the firm muscles.

The brownrider didn't need to be told twice. Moving himself into position,
he slowly readied himself for a repeat of the Flight, taking advantage of
the moment to become more familiar with the greenrider who wasn't one of his
wingriders.

Aileyan responded more than eagerly.

When the second round was done, P'nal flipped to his back again and laid
there, breathing as his heart rate slowed down. She was a small thing for
sure and she could certainly fit into his side rather easily. Stretching, he
huffed some as he tried to fix the furs again and half gave up. "That was
very nice." His eyes had adjusted to the low light in the room by now and it
was easier to see the outline of her petite form. Hopefully he hadn't broken
her.

"Mm, yes it was," Aileyan said with satisfied, lazy smile. She might be
small but passionate. Most men were surprised how passionate she was.

That was reassuring. She didn't seem to be injured and was enjoying it as
much as he was. Touching Jodeth's happy mind, he also put two and two
together and figured out who she really was. This was U'kaiah's
greenrider-or had been-he reminded himself. Of course the bronzerider was
gone and that had been all that was said. Still, P'nal found himself curious
about the situation. He had up and left this one and one other... Why? To
the brownrider's way of thinking-it didn't make any sense. Unless he had
plans of being Weyrleader at the new Weyr. Hm. Oh well. **His loss** "I find
it interesting that I haven't really talked to you before now."

"S'pose our paths have never really crossed," Aileyan rolled to a siting
position and stretched. So he wanted to talk. Aileyan did know who he was,
having seen P'nal around doing his wingsecond stuff.

"Hmmm no you've never been in my wing." **And always paying attention to a
certain bronzerider-wingleader.** "That's probably a good thing though."
Getting comfortable, he didn't make any moves to go anywhere. Why when it
was warm here and his partner was attractive? It had been a long time anyhow
since he'd been avoiding Harki like the plague and hadn't thought about
anyone else.

"How come that's a good thing?" Aileyan inquired. She was in no hurry to
leave. Ravyan's fostermother knew as well she did when Kjarrie was due a
Mating Flight and wouldn't be expecting her to come to pick up the boy.

"Well...it's generally not a good idea to be in bed with your wingriders
except for Flights. And you're quite attractive." Then again, if this was a
repeat it was up to her. P'nal wouldn't put pressure on anyone. As it was,
though, he needed to get his mind off of Harki somehow. And he knew good and
well she wasn't wasting any time on him.

"Thank you," Aileyan replied. She was feeling little bit bewildered. Did he
want something more than just a Flight? Just now, it was just a Flight.

"You're very welcome." He started to stretch, leaving it up to her. **Would
she stay or would she go? Would she seek him out again? She's not hard to
talk to** P'nal didn't say another word, instead letting Aileyan set the
pace for the rest of the encounter. If it was just a flight, then so be it.
After all, he didn't know what he wanted since he couldn't have who he
wanted.

She was getting mixed signals from him, which made her cautious. "Do you
want something to eat?" she asked anyway. A bit of a company for a meal
wouldn't hurt.

"Ah some food would be great. I'll need to umm...wash and dress first
though." Like it or not, he smelled like sex and he knew if he went into the
Dining Cavern like that, everyone would know. "Maybe I can meet you in about
fifteen?" He sounded hopeful since she was throwing out a branch, after all.

"Sure," Aileyan nodded. She would add P'nal to the list of men she had seen
since U'kaiah left.
