Description: The cold riders go to a warm and isolated beach for a bit of fun and G'wen regrets what happens next
Location: Elsewhere on Pern
Date: month 9, day 14 of Turn 7

The warm tropical air rolled over G'wen as soon as Neath came out of /between/. He glanced over to the other two dragons and riders and grinned at them. Trust E'naer to come to the rescue as always. His heart swelled at the thought of his weyrmate. Neath circled quickly and all but dumped G'wen and her riding straps off, so eager was she to dive into the ocean. Already a troop of wild fire lizards were gathering over the dragons' head, as eager as they to be wet.

With three dragons, the beach was starting to look small and crowded, E'naer noted when he took Eillie's straps off. She soon joined Neath. Feral also joined them. Galerith wasn't far behind the ladies.

"So, this the place you always disappear to," Sh'lua looked curiously around. "It's lovely and most importantly, warm," he started to shed of his clothes.

G'wen would have answered but he was caught up in his own tunic and shirt. His body was already sweating under them, making it hard to get the heavy clothing off.

E'naer spread the blankets and put away the food before asking. "So, what do you guys want to do first?"

G'wen just raised a questioning eyebrow.

"Is that a hint?" Sh'lua smirked. He didn't bother to hide what effect the two greenriders had on him.

Instead of answering, G'wen pointedly looked at E'naer. It would be his decision.

"What, are you getting impatient?" E'naer asked, teasing them by dragging it on. "I though Sh'lua wanted get clean first."

Now G'wen pointedly looked at Sh'lua.

"I think I just go and join the dragons!" Sh'lua said and lifted his hands up. "You teasers!"

G'wen rolled his eyes and kicked out of his trousers, being the first to be completely naked. "Well, if neighter one of you is going to make a move, I_will_go join the dragons." With that, he raced down the sands and splashed into the warm waters.

E'naer gave Sh'lua a somewhat wicked grin and shed off his clothes, joining G'wen in water.

"Greenriders," Sh'lua muttered and followed them in to the water.

By the time they had gotten into the water, the youngest of the trio was already out to the dragons. They had all day to get intimate with one another, right now G'wen was enjoying the feeling of just being warm, from his head to his toes. Four days without heat was too long, even for a Dragonsfall-bred boy like him.

E'naer enjoyed the warm waters, up until Sh'lua doused him. "Hey!" E'naer cried and tried to splash the big blue rider. Soon they were having a water fight.

G'wen just snorted at their decidedly not adult antics and laid back again one of Neath's outstretched wings. As his body got warmer, his libretto was taking a turn more back to his normal self. He glanced at her, wondering if he was just getting proddy. That would explain it.

"I'm all clean now, and you guys are lot of talk but no action," Sh'lua grumbled after a while. He dove under the surfaced and came up right next to G'wen and put his arms around him. "I'm all warmed up, how about you?" the bluerider asked and planted a kiss to his neck.

"I--uh--" G'wen felt that kiss from his head to his toes...to another part of his body.

Sh'lua continued what he had started.

"Now I feel lonely," E'naer muttered and swam to join the two.

G'wen saw E'naer coming over out of the corner of his eye. It was hard to think with Sh'lua doing what he was doing, and when E'naer join in, G'wen just let go. Life was easier that way, and it wasn't like he was some Hold-bound prude.

Things turned rather interesting from that point onwards.

"Perhaps we should move the beach and continue there?" E'naer suggested. "Before one of us drowns?"

Before anyone could answer, Neath swam under the three men and lifted them gently along her back. Not that she was concerned about her tiny lifemate; in fact, she was quite happy with what was going on. He needed to loosen up a bit, and the warm water was doing just the trick. She'd never understand the whole lifemate-for-life silliness. It wasn't like she had chosen the same mate every time she had flown. In fact, she had tried out a different colour every time, things stayed diplomatic that way, and if there was a trait a green-who-really-should-have-been-born-a-gold had to know how to do, it was be diplomatic.

So it was on the back of the large green that the three men floated on

***

"Well, that was something," Sh'lua remarked with an exhausted puff, when the action died down. Things had definitely gotten vigorous and even the big, strong bluerider had to catch his breath.

"Come on, don't tell me you never tried anything like this before?" E'naer asked, still cradling G'wen against him, caressing him in lazy, satisfied manner.

"Not with two male greenriders. With man and woman, yes," Sh'lua admitted.

That wasn't a surprised to E'naer. There probably wasn't anything sex-related that Sh'lua hadn't tried.

Their talk washed over G'wen. Now that it was over, he was having a Hold-bound girl moment. Had he_really_just done this? Even with his eyes shut and his mouth--finally--shut, his face was going a bright ting of red that had nothing to do with being sunburned.

"Something wrong, G'wen? You're gone quiet?" E'naer asked.

If anything, G'wen went even more red. Sitting up, he snatched his dry clothes and began getting dressed. "I'm fine, are you fine? Everyone's fine, right?" He knew his words were coming out so fast that each word was all but tripping over the one in front of it, but he couldn't help it.

"Everyone's fine except you," Sh'lua said with slow drawl. He leaned to his elbows. "Now you're acting like a prissy little hold girl who's never kissed a boy before," he observed.

His words made E'naer close his eyes and wince. "Ever heard of tact?" he asked the bluerider with quiet murmur. G'wen's reaction worried him. Maybe this had been too much too fast?

"Nono, I'm fine. I'm perfectly okay, great in fact. Yes just fine." G'wen glanced up at the sun. "Wow, would you look at the time? I'm hungry, you hungry? Anyone hungry? I bet the dragons are hungry. Yep I bet they are."

}:Have you gotten too much sun?:{

"Me? Too much sun? What're you saying Neath?" In his embarrassed state, G'wen forgot that the others couldn't hear Neath. He got up and began walking towards where the three dragons were sunning themselves. He really needed to grab a redfruit on the way and shove it into his mouth. Anything to stop the verbal diarrhea.

}: I'm not hungry, :{ Eillispeth lifted her head lazily.

Sh'lua was observing G'wen with curious interest. "Sun stroke?" he suggested.

"I hope so," E'naer said and pulled himself up to feet. "Should we get back home?"

"And dunk him in to a snow pile to cool him off?" Sh'lua suggested cheerfully.

}:Something like that:{ Neath made a rare comment to someone not her rider. Already she was standing up and shaking the sand off her dark hide. Going back to the freezing cold Weyr was not her idea of a good time, but it was obvious her little lifemate needed some alone time.

Sh'lua was not used to other dragons than his blue talking to them and stared Neath with disbelief. Did she just spoke to him? The voice was completely different than Galerith's and unmistakenly feminine.

E'naer noticed his reaction but not the reason for it. "Did you get too much sun too?"

"Neath just agreed with me," he still sounded incredulous.

}: I like Neath,:{ Galerith offered a completely irrelevant comment that had absolutely nothing to do with the ongoing discussion.

** You like them all, ** Sh'lua's reply was automatic.

"Hey, anyone coming?" Already G'wen was strapping poor Neath up for the return home. She looked more like a pissed off cat who was being bathed than a dignified dragon.

"Well, this is certainly been interesting," Sh'lua remarked and started to pick up their things. E'naer helped him.

"He's a prude," Sh'lua murmured very quietly when they folded the blanket.

"Faranth, I know. I live with him, remember," E'naer murmured back. They soon had both dragons loaded and ready to go. Eillispeth complained for she would preferred to stay in the warm sun.

Thankfully, G'wen never heard them.

And Neath never told him.
