Carrying a glass of wine and resting after finishing a turn on the dance floor, she watched the others carry on while the music continued. There was cheese in her other hand and she nibbled on it every now and again. It had been a while since she had come to Dragonsfall and she found herself thinking again that she might very well have come here instead of Hygalia. They both had gone to their Weyrs at about the same time. How different life might have been. And yet, this was Saibra's place now-just as River Bluff was hers. **Will she stay though?**

"Weyrwoman." The greeting was polite and quietly spoken as a bronzerider moved to stand next to River Bluff's goldrider. He smiled when she turned her attention his way. "I hope you're enjoying the cheese. I always thought Dragonsfall territory produced a good hard cheddar."

She turned and automatically looked up at the knots. **Bronze. Of course.** "Mmmm, it is well cured I'll admit." And Rhosyn was quite a connoisseur though she'd never admit it. Good food was something she appreciated no matter what. "And have you had any then, bronzerider?"

He smiled a bit. "Not tonight. But I used to call Dragonsfall home, so I know what it's like."

"And why did you leave?" Not that she had always stayed in one place either. Still that was always a valid question. "Forgive me. I am Rhosyn and you are?"

"J'nus, recently of Dolphin Cove." He held out his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Weyrwoman."

"You as well. So you went from Dragonsfall to Dolphin Cove?" Like N'vanik, Janani, and Traelyn. Rhosyn wondered about that. Saibra had done the
opposite which of course made people wonder. "Wasn't because of the weather I hope."

The bronzerider shook his head. "Not really. The heat's been taking some time to adjust to, but it's not so bad. Although you'd know all about that, being from River Bluff."

"Indeed. All about it." She rolled her eyes for a moment indicating just how much. "So J'nus of Dolphin Cove, how does it feel to be home?"

"Cooler?" J'nus grinned. "But really, Dolphin Cove became home when my transfer papers came through. There's no sense in looking backward." No matter how odd it felt to be back in Dragonsfall Weyr, Dolphin Cove was home. It _had_ to be home. Dragonsfall Weyr had given him sanctuary when he'd needed it, but hadn't bothered to progress beyond that. More importantly, Dolphin Cove was where Kapera was. "How about you? Do you ever regret not trying for Saibra's place?"

"I'm confused. What do you mean? I could never have filled the spot when Hygalia left because I had a Weyr." Rhosyn took her position as Senior Weyrwoman seriously. Only death would make her leave River Bluff. She didn't leave like the Dragonsfall and Dolphin Cove women tended to do.

"Just--" J'nus paused. Rhosyn was apparently a very literal individual. "Just wondering what you might have done, if you didn't have a Weyr. Idle speculation to make conversation, that's all. I know you're loyal to your Weyr, Weyrwoman."

That was one issue that seriously ruffled her feathers but Rhosyn tried to calm. Considering the question for what it was, she answered honestly. "At the time I would have gone anywhere. So if Hygalia had not come here-aye I might have. I have no regrets though." **Not about not coming here anyway**

He nodded, then changed the subject. "So what is your favorite thing about River Bluff, Weyrwoman?"

The man was apparently full of difficult questions. "Besides the electricity, I'd have to say my Headwoman. She's marvelous and I wouldn't ever let her go
anywhere else." That was a truly honest answer and Rhosyn didn't have to think long and hard about it.

"I can't speak to your Headwoman, but I do remember the view. I always thought River Bluff was rather pretty." Hot, sultry and beautiful, with pretty beaches and intensely green trees.

It was pretty, but not very different from most of the other coastal Weyrs so she didn't see it as unique. "Apparently not enough since you didn't come to River Bluff when you left."

"No." The bronzerider was quiet for a moment, remembering how he'd been when he'd left River Bluff Weyr for good. Young, stupid and too fond of drink. And now he was old, drinking juice like a child, and bothering a Weyrwoman at a Hatching with pointless conversation. His gaze sought Kapera in the crowd but he couldn't spot her. "No," he roused himself and smiled at Rhosyn instead. "Even with all its pretty temptations, I still found myself at Dolphin Cove."

Rhosyn hadn't missed the look and she knew he was searching for someone. Guessing whoever it was had most likely become the reason why he had gone to Dolphin Cove, she finished her drink and set the glass down somewhere. "Well good luck to you then while you're there."

"Have a good evening, Weyrwoman," he said as she departed.
