Description: Naton comes home to a surprise.

Date: month 13, day 16 of Turn 7

Jylanya

"Thank you, greenrider F'res, and thank your beautiful Talazith for me
as well," Naton said his farewells with a respectful bow. He was home
again, at last, and not a day too soon! There was so much to do and so
little time. Even so, he yearned for time to go faster still, because
that would bring his wedding day even closer. The day he could truly
call his beautiful Jylanya his own.

"A pleasure," F'res grinned at the handsome crafter. Too bad he wasn't
interested because F'res wouldn't have minded a little cuddle or just
a little kiss.

"If you do not mind, I have a fiancé whose arms I need to run into,"
Naton said with a sheepish grin, feeling he should explain his
hurrying.

Said fiance pelted from the entrance of the Hall with a joyous
greeting "Naton," she called as she ran toward him and leaped at him
throwing her arms around his neck.

The greenrider chuckled, clearly he'd lost this one but he truly
didn't mind. "Congratulations he said with a smile," and the pair
flung themselves into the air to disappear /between/.

"Jyls!" Naton wrapped his arms around her and spun her around in his
usual exuberant fashion, relishing in the feeling of having her in his
arms once more. "Baby, you don't know how much I missed you."

"Probably about as much as I've missed you," she hugged his neck. "Oh
I've got so much to tell you," she grinned as she stepped back. "How
was your trip?"

"It was just fine, we got a lot of work done," Naton smiled. "But I
don't want to talk about work! I want to talk all about you, about
us." Holding out his arm to her, he started to walk her down the path
towards the hold. "So tell me everything!"

"How about we talk about the wedding," she smiled and hugged closer to
him. "I thought we could do it at the Turnover Celebrations. I know
that's only a couple of weeks away but..." She stopped for a moment
and looked up at him. "Do you mind?"

It struck Naton that he had just been thinking of how he would like to
speed up time to make their wedding day arrive even sooner and now
here was his lovely fiance giving him that opportunity. "I don't mind,
I would marry you tonight if you said so, but why the change?" He knew
that many women needed months to plan dresses, and flowers, food and
decorations.

"Well," she said with a slow smile. "I was waiting for you to get home
so you could have the dolphins confirm it." She went up on tiptoe to
whisper. "I think I'm pregnant."

It was the last thing he had expected Jylanya to say, and surprise
showed on his face as his eyebrows lifted and his eyes lit.
"Pregnant?" He'd thought about children in his future, of course, but
he'd never anticipated anything so soon.

She nodded, eyes sparkling. "I'm not certain of course but the signs
are all there."

Naton grabbed Jylanya up in a tight hug as excitement coursed through
his veins, "A baby!" A piece of his Jylanya to nurture and cherish.

"Yes," she laughed up into his face reflecting her own joy. How long
had she dreamed of her own baby to hold. She'd moved on thinking that
she would have to set that dream aside but now it was all coming
true. She cupped his face with both hands and brought it down to hers
for a kiss.

"Let's celebrate tonight? Private dinner, my quarters, just me and
you." Naton murmured against Jylanya's lips, trailing his thumb along
her jaw.

"I can make that happen," she smiled happily. A rather large sigh
along with a grin spoke of her feelings in a way he couldn't possibly
miss. "And we can talk about the wedding," she added in a hurry as
multiple people spilled out of the Hall to come and greet the
returning Master.
