Leora was in the storerooms restocking her supplies when Solat, the journeyman on duty came to get her.

"Leora, lesson time." He smiled. "There's a girl here that could use a massage and I thought you could try the new techniques I taught you."

"Yes, sir." Leora obediently came out and saw to the girl that Solat had mentioned.

"Hello, my name is Leora. What's bothering you?"

"Pleasure to meet you Leora, I'm Illiana and I'm here because I've got quite the sore back." She admitted as she stood up, pulling her tunic up a bit to show the bruise. "You see I was kicked by a cow the other day and he muscle has become quite sore."

Leora winced a little and sucked in a breath. A black and blue bruise about the size of her fist had formed nicely in the time since Illiana had been kicked. "All right. I'm going to need you to take off your tunic and lay face down on the table, and then I'll get to work." She turned around to give the girl a little privacy.

Illiana could feel her face getting warmer as she took of the tunic, but this was a bit more understandable when compared to the public bathing rooms. She lay the tunic on a chair beside the table before she climbed up and lay there face down. "I'm good." She said so that the healer would know it was okay to turn around.

"So tell me a little about yourself," although Leora wasn't bothered by working in silence, she knew most of her patients expected a little conversation.

"Well lets see, my name is Illiana, I'm from a Beastcraft Hall up North, a Journeywoman before being Searched. Well I suppose I still am, but if I Impress I'll have to give up my craft." She lay there, slowly relaxing a bit more.

"And does the Beastcraft usually involve tempermental cows?" Leora was pleased to discover that the bruise was rather superficial and that - aside from the discoloration - the girl wouldn't have any lasting damage.

"Well some of them, and it was understandable for this girl, she just had her first calf, so she was a bit sore and her udder was tender." Illiana explained. "Been awhile since I was kicked though."

"Well, let's just hope it's a while before you're kicked again. This bruise will take several weeks to heal; but, there will be no lasting damamge."

Illiana nodded. "That is good to know, should I put anything on it? Or just let it run its course?"

"Yes, you can see the journeyman for some oils with extracts to help it heal faster." Leora removed her hands and turned around to allow the girl to redress. "That should help the soreness, and you can always come back if it starts to ache again."

Standing up the candidate stretched, pleased that the muscle was no longer quite as tight or sore. "Oh thank-you very much Leora, that feels much better." She said while putting back on her tunic.

"I'm very glad that I could help - and that I met you." The healer was quite genuine; even though she had been at River Bluff for a few months now, she still didn't have a great collection of friends, and she was always pleased to meet someone her own age.

"Well anytime you see me in the dinning cavern feel free to come over and say hello, I really don't know too many people around here yet and always enjoy a bit of company." She admitted with a warm smile. "And if you'd ever like to come down and visit some of the animals across the river just give me a shout and we can maybe go out for a runner ride?" She offered.

"I'd very much like to!" Leora smiled and leaned in a little closer to Illiana. "I know this sounds awful, but I'm glad you had to come in today."

Illiana moth broke out into a great big smile. "Hopefully next time I come in it will be simply for a visit and not due to an injury inflicted on me from one of the lovely animals across the river."

"Let's hope so." Leora thought that maybe just maybe, this was the beginning of a fruitful friendship.

"Well I should get a move on, chores to attend to. It was a pleasure meeting you Leora, and I will see you again shortly."
