Saibra

}:What is taking you so long?:{ Chioneth demanded, her tone impatient and annoyed.

**The beach isn't going anywhere, just relax.** Saibra shot back with an equally annoyed sigh, although, her annoyance wasn't directed Chioneth, but at herself.

The Weyrwoman stood in front of the full length mirror in her weyr in a bathing suit that had been her favorite, once upon a time. She remembered when she'd first had it made, back when she'd lived at Dolphin Cove. She had found the low cut of the bottoms flattering with her narrow hips and toned abdomen, but now... Now all she saw was the loose skin of her stomach, and the overly round curve of her hips.

And the stretch marks... She ran her fingers over the dark lines that went down her sides and along her thighs. They had faded some in the past five months, but were still very visible. Would her body ever been normal again?

She'd been jogging in the mornings with Jadirah, and practically living off of water and salads, what more could she do? She grabbed the excess skin and fat around her stomach between her fingers, lips tilting into a deeper frown as she turned sideways and looked back into the mirror.

"Well, there's no way in 'fall I'm wearing this to the beach," she sighed, her hands sliding around to her butt. "And when is this going to return to normal?" she grumbled.

Saibra's mind drew up mental images of some of the women in the Queen's Wing who had been pregnant and recently delivered. Some of them looked as if they'd never even been pregnant, which disgruntled her to no end. It wasn't that she regretted having the twins, she loved them with her entire being, but she also wished her body would return to the one she knew and loved.

Stripping out of the top that was barely holding her breasts, which had definitely increased a full cup size, she tossed it aside and went back to the wardrobe. At the moment she didn't want anyone to see her out on the beach. **Maybe I'll just stay in,** she sighed, staring at the clothes hanging in front of her. But she loved the beach, she had been raised at Far Island Weyr and the love of the ocean had never left her.

}:Do I need to call Mnoranth's to check on you?:{ Chioneth huffed.

"No!" Saibra hissed aloud, knowing full well her dragon heard her. The last thing she wanted to do was address her problem with R'enh. He would say that she looked fine and he wouldn't understand how she really felt.

Finally, the Weyrwoman settled on a pair of swim shorts, and a long flowy tunic that covered her midsection. She still wasn't satisfied, but it would have to do. Shrugging into a long coat that would keep her covered during flight and /between/, she tucked her sun hat under her arm and then went out to Chioneth's ledge, where she had already strapped her beach bag onto the gold's flight straps.

}:About time. I thought you were clutching another egg in there.:{ Chioneth said as she crouched so that Saibra could climb up into her place.

**Ha. Ha.** She answered back as she strapped herself in for flight. Her eyes caught on her thighs as she adjusted her coat to cover them. They were so round and soft, she thought with disgust. It seemed like no matter how little she ate or how much she ran, they weren't improving. **I'll just have to be stricter with my diet,** Saibra told herself, lifting her chin.

}:Ready?:{

**Let's go,** Saibra said, hoping that some time in the sand under the sun would improve her mood.
