Az'uka made progress across the lower caverns, pulling off his riding gloves; he was still dressed in his riding gear, having just got back. He found a table and chair within a good proximity of the hearth. He pulled the chair clear of the table and basically collapsed into it, one exhausted dragon rider. He sort of sprawled out in the chair and in relative comfort closed his eyes and seemingly dozed, half expecting is dragon to wake him with some titbit.

"Excuse me," U'kaiah said, gently shaking his shoulder. "Excuse me, bluerider."

He opened one eye as a snide comment about waking a dragon rider crossed his mind, but never his lips, as he hadn't really been sleeping. Az'uka gave a smile, which seemed somewhat lost in his current state. "Yes?"

"Sorry, but I was sitting in that seat earlier," U'kaiah said with an apologetic smile. "I think I might have dropped the key to the Weyrlingmaster's office between the cushions. Can I check?"

Obligingly Az'uka stood. "Of course" He returned, stepping out of the bronzerider's way.

"Thank you," U'kaiah smiled as he leaned down to run a hand along the soft cushion. "The Weyrlingmaster would have my hide if I lost it."

Az'uka smiled in return "I thought Weyrlingmaster gave up on threats like that after we left the barracks" He said with a joking tone, remembering all too well the threats they came up with to make the young impressionable dragon riders stand to attention.

"Apparently not," the bronzerider chuckled as his fingers brushed across something cold and metallic. "Ah ha! Found it!"

"All in a day's work then, losing keys getting threatened..." Az'uka mused jokingly and gave U'kaiah a small round of applause when he located the key. "And one more hide is safe"

"And they say fighting Thread is all a rider is good for," U'kaiah chuckled as he tucked the key safely in his pocket once more. "Well, sorry to disturb your nap..." he left a pause, hoping the rider would take the hint and supply a name.

"Ah forgive my rudeness, I'm Az'uka" He seemly answered the open question, a little surprised at himself for not saying so sooner.

"Az'uka," the bronzerider nodded. "You are in the Weyrleader's wing I believe?"

The bluerider nodded back "That I am" faintly he wondered where he was going with the question.

U'kaiah nodded. "I was pretty sure you weren't in my wing. I used to be Cyan Wing's Wingleader, but then you probably knew that already."

**Did he?** Az'uka's brow frowned a little, while he mentally tried to place the rider he was chatting with, so many faces and names, there never seemed to be enough time.

"I'm U'kaiah," the bronzerider supplied his name.

Then it snapped, He could almost hear the name go click inside his head, he gave the bronze rider a smile. "Of course, sorry about that, it seems my memory isn't keeping up today"

"Quite all right," U'kaiah said with an understanding nod. He was sure a lot of new people had never even heard of him. It was a bit of a blow to his ego. His reputation once preceded him. Now he had to explain himself to people...

**You where still Wingleader when I arrived ** Az'uka through of something to say to the bronzerider and the best he could come up with was. "If your reputation proceeds you, you where sharding good at your job" **Enough so I knew your name, even from Far Island Weyr**

"I tried." And the bronzerider really didn't want to think about how he was stupid enough to lose it. "How about you? Any aspirations to bigger things?"

"To be honest I never really occurred to me" **I'm a bluerider after all** He gave a smile "I guess the biggest aspiration in my life was to Impress"

}: And now you have me :{ Came the dragon's comment, he'd been listening.

"You weren't a crafter? Or thought of being a Wingthird?" U'kaiah asked curiously "Ah, I was born a Weyr-brat and devolved my craft after we left; I was a runner. As for being a Wingthrid ... call it a boyhood dream, I've thought about it." He summarized, in answer to the bronzerider's question.

"Well, there is always the future. You'll be a dragonrider a long time, after all," the bronzerider smiled.

Az'uka chuckled "Of course, it definitely gives one time to think about things"

"Never count out the possibilities. Well, thank you for the key," U'kaiah smiled.

Az'uka smiled again "Anytime, just try and stay way from the Weyrlingmaster's wrath until next time; friend"
