Description: Az'uka and S'rak catch up on bets
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 13, day 3 of Turn 3
Az'uka looked at Nilzuth, who seemed content to stay put in his weyr for the rest of day. The dragonrider gave his partner an affectionate pat and the blue opened one eye and looked at him.
}: Remind me to wake you next time you're sleeping :{ He intoned
**Asleep? I think not my friend** He smiled * I believe you where sunbathing** Reaching over Az'uka gave Nilzuth's eye ridge a good scratch. **Shouldn't you stretch your wings? **
The dragon shifted his weight a little in his weyr and turned his head to face his rider, both eyes open and looking at him. }:Shouldn't you find your own source of entertainment? :{ Az'uka gave a chuckle and patted his dragon again on the way out of the weyr **Just don't sleep all day**. With that the bluerider went in search of a cup of Klah.
"Az'uka!" S'rak called as he waved an arm to get the bluerider's attention.
Az'uka heard the voice and turned on heel, trying mentally to place the owner of it in his mind. He caught sight of the bronzerider and smile spread across his face, "S'rak!" He headed over to where the bronzerider was waving at him "How's life been treating you old friend?"
"Not bad, not bad at all." he replied with a smile as he indicated the rider to sit, "I haven't seen you in several sevenday, what have you been up to?"
"Not a lot, unless you count the usual arguments with Nilzuth" Az'uka said with a laugh as he half slid into the chair beside the bronzerider "You'd better listen to that dragon of yours, he's smarter than you!" It was no secret that Nilzuth was about the only thing that kept Az'uka out of trouble.
Az'uka raised an eyebrow "now that's debatable on some fronts" Which was more or less a half truth, it was some times scary when the two agreed.
}: At lest someone agrees :{ Came Nilzuth's smug tone "But not many, my friend." S'rak teased. To change the subject before Az'uka took it personally he added, "Anyway, I'm thinking about organizing a small dragonpoker party for next restday eve, you interested?"
Az'uka smiled "Why not, it's been far too long since we had a game" Choosing to skip over S'rak's tease **best save that for another time**
"That it has," S'rak agreed, "And outside those of my wing and the other bronzeriders, there are so few at the weyr I've actually had a chance to get to know. So feel free to invite whomever you think would enjoy the game."
"Ah yes, finding more members, I'll see what I can came up with, making no promises, through." Az'uka replied, it seemed that even though he'd been here several sevendays more than the bronzerider, that he knew very few people as well.
S'rak added with a sly grin, "Let's keep the ladies away from this party though, unless they play of course, they tend to distract the other players and slow the game down."
"Ah yes, that and we'd end up playing something entirely different." Az'uka added with a small chuckle remembering the last time they'd played poker with the ladies.
"Exactly!" S'rak agreed, "And I plan on taking _marks_ home this time, not _undergarments_!"
Az'uka smiled "Now If I remember, I think you where wining that contest, last time we checked" Joking, he and S'rak once had a bet on who could bring home the most sets of undergarments in one night "I believe I still owe you a drink over that"
"A drink?" he shook his head with a grin, "No, no, I'm positive it was a whole _bottle_!"
He gave a mock frown "Ah yes, a small over sight" His face brightened into a smile "Indeed it was, so much for trying to get around that one"
"You know, I think we should head over to the vintner's so I can pick out my prize." he said with a wink, "Just in case you happen to forget again!"
His face broke into a grin "Ah yes but sometimes you have trouble deciding on just one bottle my friend" He moved closer to S'rak and gestured with an open hand "After you then"
S'rak gave a very low mocking bow before taking the lead, "Why thank you." And if he _did_ happen to have a hard time choosing between bottles, Az'uka could just buy both; S'rak was bound to win another bet with the bluerider sooner or later!
