Sadly I Must

Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 13, day 16 of Turn 3

Syntara pulled her jacket a little closer to chest as she walked
across the dark Weyrbowl. She was aware of not only the sound of her
own
boots on the hard ground, but gradually she picked up on the sound of a
second pair of boots in the night. Before long she was able to make out
the shape of a fellow dragonrider - young - but handsome none-the-less.

Since her most recent stay in the infirmary and her recovery, she was
feeling more like herself than she had in ages. In keeping with her
newfound reconcilliation with the woman she had once been, she decided
that maybe she'd have just a bit of fun.

H'mos walked quietly back to the weyrling barracks. He had just
returned his canine to the care of the beastcrafters. He hated leaving
the big beast but it was to hard to care for him and Mosiyth at the
same time. When he had a weyr all his own then Lord Puddles could come
back to living with him.

She surveyed the owner of the boots in more detail as he came closer.
She was right, he was young, indeed. "And what, do they let weyrlings
out all night now?"

H'mos clanced up, He smiled as he looked over the person he was
adressing. "No I had to drop a friend off. I am on my way back to bed."

"Were you planning on going alone?" She diecided she might as well out
with it - if the boy wasn't used to forward women already it was high
time he did!

"Sadlly I must. My handsome Mosiyth is yet to young for me to have any
fun." He did not mention that if he were allowed, he would be with a
certian young greenrider.

"That's too bad." She looked him up and down rather obviously. "You
look like you'd be fun..."

He blushed every so slightly, "I thank you for the compliment. Perhaps
you will find another lucky young man tonight." He bowed as he turned t
continue on his way.
