Description: Kiomo and Fieayz share a dance at Turns End
Location: Garnet Valley Hold
Date: month 13, day 29 of Turn 3
Turn's end was always something special, thought Fieayz as she watched the dancers moving around the floor. The harpers were doing a fantastic job playing old favourites, traditional songs and even some of the newer compositions to emerge from the Harper Hall.
She sat back in her chair for a moment, just enjoying the moment.
"Well, you look rather... content," Kiomo smiled when he recognized the young lady he escorted to the Hold one day.
"I was enjoying watching the dancers," she replied with a smile for the holder.
"And just why aren't you out there dancing yourself?" he asked with an amused grin.
"Because nobody asked me yet," she said.
"Oh, well, we can't have that, now can we!" The holder offered her his arm. "Shall we dance?"
"Of course sir," she said politely rising to her feet and taking the proferred arm. "How could I say no to such a wonderful offer?"
"Now, I remember your name is Fieayz from the Vintner Hall," he said as he lead her onto the dancefloor, "but do you remember who I am?"
"How could I forget you Holder Kiomo," she said. "You were such pleasant company the other day."
"Well, we did meet only the once, I wouldn't blame you for forgetting.
There's probably a lot of new names and faces you're having to learn."
He twirled her under his arm as they joined the other dancers.
"What would make you so forgettable?" she asked as she spun back into his arms.
He laughed as they dodged another couple. "I don't know what would make me _memorable_."
"Your dancing maybe?" she suggested.
"We didn't dance in the woods," he pointed out.
"Perhaps it was your conversation then?"
"I suppose. I am rather witty," he conceded with the greatest of reluctance.
"I suppose you are," she said with a smile.
"I'm surprised you didn't go to the Weyr for Turns End. I'm sure they're having quite the celebration tonight." He remembered she had said something about having her mother and her uncle there at the Weyr.
"My father wouldn't think it proper," she said.
"Ah, I see," Kiomo nodded his understanding. "The Weyr is no place for a young woman. You might get corrupted with... _ideas_ or something."
"That might just depend on what those ideas where," she joked. "After all dancing like this is perfectly innocent."
"Oh I don't know, maybe... _thinking_?" he said in a conspiratorial whisper.
"Wouldn't that depend on what you were thinking?" she suggested as the music began to slow a little.
"Hmmm, I suppose so. Just what do you like thinking about?" Kiomo asked, eyebrows raised curiously.
"That might be telling," she said flirtatiously.
"Telling? Telling me what?" he asked innocently.
"Of all those scandalous things I heard about at the Weyr."
"Oh, I see. Yes, you better not tell me about those. I'm a very innocent boy," he said with large round eyes.
"I'm sure you are," she said, meeting his gaze.
Kiomo chuckled as he twirled her under his arm. "Now now, Fieayz, if you keep looking at me like that you're going to make me blush."
"Would that be a bad thing?" she countered, watching his face as she turned back to face him.
The Holder shook his head is mock disbelief. "I can tell, Fieayz, that I had better watch out for you. You have been totally corrupted." "Or maybe I haven't," she teased.
"Well," he smiled as the music began to wind-up, which usually leads to its inevitable end, "your secret it safe with me."
"As are any you might have with me."
He bowed to her slightly as the music came to an end. "Thank you Fieayz, that is a very kind offer. Unfortunately I already promised a lady a dance. It was nice seeing you tonight. You are a wonderful dancer."
"Thank you, I enjoyed myself," she said.
