Description: Thanja visits the new Dolphin Hallsecond.

Gossip travelled faster than anything else known to man. And so it was that Thanja made her way over to the docks at the Dolphin Hall to introduce herself to the new arrival.

She found the Dolphineer leaving another solo session with the Dolphin Hall pod. Kouna climbed the ladder to see the Harper Hallsecond's feet.

"Master Thanja, what a surprise to see you here. I hope you weren't waiting for Mosler, he had some business to attend to and he'll be gone until evening." Kouna grabbed a waiting towel and began drying her bleached brown hair.

"It was you I came to see," she said in a very direct manner, "To introduce myself, one Hallsecond to another."

"Oh. Then why don't we step into my office." Kouna led the fellow Hallsecond into the Dolphin Hall and her office. Once there she motioned to Thanja in the direction of a chair. "Have a seat."

"Thank you," she said as she took the seat.

Kouna took a seat on the edge of the desk, curling her legs up under her, pretzal style. "So, whats on you mind?" She asked, ringing her hair with the towel.

"Nothing more that meeting a colleague. As we're neighbours, I thought it would be nice to get off to a good start."

"What a nice thought. I'll start, I'm Kouna the new Hallsecond at the Dolphin Hall. I was born to a mastervinter, and somehow found my way to the sea. I like swimming and dolphins." There was an excited chirp from the window ledge. "And of course my dear, golden Via." Kouna offered her hand, and tried to hide the smile that was growing on her lips.

"Thanja," was the reply as she took the offered hand.
"Master Printer. Since the two Halls joined forces so to speak, this seemed a nice way to combine things.
Born at the Northern Printer Hall, my husband and I came south with our children a little while back. We were at Topaz Sea Hold for a while, then Emerald Falls and now here." Thanja smiled. "We like it here, certainly warmer. and as two of my children have Impressed, I think we'll stay a while."

"I'm glad to here it. Have you had a tour? Would you care to meet the pod?" Kouna put the towel down on the desk. Via chirpped and glided over to the desk top from her window sill perch. The little queen made a show of stretching her legs and wings, showing herself off. Kouna laughed. "Or we could just admire Via."

"And she's worthy of admiration all right."

"Do you have a flit?" Kouna asked, looking down at her lap as Via slid in and presented her belly to be rubbed.

"No, but they seem like interesting little friends to have."

"Would you care to pet her?" Kouna offered the golden queen to Thanja on her arm.

Thanja held out an hand to the little gold, and stroked her gently. "She's beautiful."

Via Crooned and leaned her head into the caress.
Without warning, the tiny golden queen jumped from Kouna's arm to Thanja' s for better access to this new source of a affection.

"Definitely a charmer as well," Thanja smiled, what was it about the little creatures that attracted them to people and vice versa. "She only does it to get more attention." Kouna smiled at her small charges antics with her fellow Hallsecond. "At the risk of angering my closest consort, can I drag you away from her to meet some of the new dolphins. There's one new member of the pod that I've been dying to introduce people to." She grinned at the antics of Arc, the big calf at heart she'd met early that sevenday.

"I'd like that."

"I hope you don't mind getting a little wet. This one likes to splash." She told Thanja as she led her from her office.
