Two Wing Mates and Several Bottles of Wine

N'klar

At dinner with some of his wingmates, N'klar pulled out a special skin of wine and poured some in his empty glass with a grin. To all of them, he said, "Does anyone want to adjourn to my weyr for a little dragonpoker and some drinking?" He got mostly 'nos' and 'other plans' from the various green and blueriders at his table - they were a popular bunch - but he offered some of his wine to Az'uka. "how about you, Az'uka? Want to play cards or help me empty this skin?"

The bluerider raised an eyebrow at N'klar's offer and smiled. Shards he was always up for something like that, any of his old wingmates at Far Island Weyr would agree to that fact no ends, and to the fact that Az'uka was not the best of players. In fact the dragonrider was rarely known for winning. "I don't see why not N'lkar" He returned, amusement in his tone, **why not indeed?**

N'klar's grin was bright as the affirmative answer came form Az'uka. "he rather liked his fellow bluerider, and decided it might not be bad at all to spend an evening in his company.

"Once you spend time drinking with me, Az'uka, you'll never want to stop!" He winked cockily and rose to his feet. "Give me just half a candlemark and meet me there?"

Az'uka gave a smile of his own, while he and N'klar were wingmates and got on while, the two had never been in each others company without a third party. An evening with N'klar was a welcome prospect. The cocky comment only had Az'uka's smile brighten. "Now that sounds like the real challenge" He joked back as he rose from his own seat. "Half a candlemark its is" he agreed with his fellow rider.

N'klar laughed and darted out of the caverns, heading to his weyr. ***we're having company, Julerith. Get ready!***

He raided his cabinet as he arrived in his weyr, looking for several different wine flavors. He had no idea what Az'uka would like, but he was willing to try it all if his fellow bluerider would stay.

The bluerider had made his way back to his own weyr, debating on how _ready_ he intended to be and what he was looking for out of tonight. Company was always a good thing, but company could go so much further. it was with that train of thought that a small smile crossed his face. Absent minded he fetched down a bottle of wine, a particular vintage that was common in his weyr though he was rarely the one who opened it. Az'uka tended to bet with this vintage, and tended to lose.

From where he was dozing inside the weyr Nilzuth opened an eyes and looked at his rider }: who did you promise a bottle of wine to this time? :{ Az'uka laughed and walked over patting the blue **No-one I'm going to spend some time with N'lkar** It was with that, that he headed off.

}: Nilzuth's is here. :{ Julerith sent, with some suspiciously like humor coloring his thoughts. Dragons thought the oddest things were funny.

N'klar got up and went to the door, opening it almost immediately after the knock came. "Get in here, Az'uka! Lets get drunk and have some fun.." A wink and his arm tucked through Az'uka's to lead him inside N'klar's weyr.

The table was set up with glasses and wines, and also cards for dragonpoker. Perhaps they'd find some other games to play as well.

Linked arm and arm with his fellow dragonrider Az'uka was escorted into the weyr. That wink of N'klar's nearly forcing a chuckle from his throat, drunk and have fun, well that certainly seemed like the best plan of action for the evening. Noticing the wine bottles already gathered on the table the bluerider added the bottle he'd brought with him to the collection as he passed it. With that much wine about it was hard not to have fun, and there were all kinds of fun to be had no doubt.
