You're just not my type

Characters: P'veas, M'galec
Description: P'veas and M'galec have a talk after the flight.
Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 8, day 9 of Turn 3

Mavikath had out flown herself, was P'veas' first thought as conciousness returned to him. While green flights were never that long in reality, this seemed to last all evening. Perhaps it was his sense of time stretching out, loosing himself in the desire that it had roused in him, and the winner as well.

A smile crossed his face as he rolled over to see just who it was that had satisfied him, as their dragon had Mavikath.

M'galec was already perched on the side of the bed pulling on his sock.
He looked over his shoulder when he heard the movement behind him. With a nod of acknowledgement he said "Good evening, greenrider," and went back to pulling on his sock.

"Bronzerider," said P'veas, studying him surreptitiously. Mavikath really had chosen well this time.

The bronzerider knelt on the floor looking for his other sock. "Feel free to stay and relax a bit. You and your green earned it, after all.
It was a good flight."

"Mavikath enjoyed herself, I can tell." The green was by now sleeping, curled next to her bronze mate. But that didn't matter, he could feel the waves of contentment radiating out from her. It made him want to repeat things, and soon.

"Well, Dwarkanath seems to have that effect on greens," M'galec grinned.
It was a good flight. Too bad he hadn't woken up next to a woman he could relive it with...

"He did indeed." P'veas slid his body across the bed. "The flight was good," he said looking up at M'galec, hoping he was reading the bronzerider's expression correctly. "Almost makes you want to carry on where they left off."

"Oh, I very much do. I'm getting read to go to see if there isn't anyone around..."

"I'm here," said the greenrider.

M'galec chuckled. "Oh greenrider, has your lifemate never been caught by a bronze before?"

"Many a time, but never by your bronze."

"Yes, well, my bronze is memorable. Unfortunately, I am still a bronzerider. Perhaps you can find someone out there who can... serve your needs." **Why don't some male greenriders ever learn..."

P'veas had encountered bronzeriders like this before. In the heat of the moment, they didn't care, but after the flight, when the intial wave of lust wore off. Some of them behaved just like holders, scared and afraid of what he represented. "I understand," he said after a long moment.

M'galec pulled his sock from under the bed where he finally found it and slipped it on. He then regarded the man in the bed a moment. "I think you see this as something personal greenrider. It's not. You're just not my type," the bronzerider stated matter of factly.

That much he'd worked out for himself. Some though, wouldn't have turned down his offer. "So it seems," replied P'veas, finally getting out of bed himself.

The bronzerider lifted up the greenrider's trousers to get to his boot.
"Here, do you need these?"

"Thank you," he said, giving the bronzerider a slight smile.

M'galec handed the clothing up to the greenrider before slipping his foot into his boot. "Ah, don't look so disappointed. I'm sure there is a nice bluerider out there waiting for you."

**With luck,** he thought as he took his clothing back. "Perhaps."

Slipping on the second the bronzerider sighed. "Well I sure hope there is a willing woman out there. After that flight I could use a little company."

**You had your chance,** thought P'veas as he slipped his shirt over his head, masking his expression. "As could I."

"Well," M'galec sighed as he got back to his feet. "I think I'm ready."

"It was a good flight."

"Yes, it was. My compliments to you and your green." M'galec gave P'veas a small smile and a nodd and walked to the door.

The greenrider finished dressing and left himself, after all. There was nothing to stay here for.
