Kedvencth landed and N'mor let out a big breath of relief. Their first
ever real Thread Fall as wingriders and they had made it thru. He was
more exhausted he ever remembered being. His fingers felt clumpsy and he
fumbled with the buckles before he got them open and slid to the ground.
He pulled the helmet off and let it fell to the ground, leaning his
forhead against Ked's shoulder. **We are alive!** he felt tired and
jubilant at the same time.

}: Yes, we were good, :{ Ked sounded smug, glowing in self-satisfaction.

"You did some sharding fine flaming," N'mor complimented him and the
bronze crooned with pleasure.

They had done their part as full fledged wing riders, not only that, but
saved a hide of their fellow wingmate. At least N'mor was pretty sure
they had saved them. Without their warning, T'shen's green would have
got Scored. The memory flashed in his mind, Ked's warning: }:
Kaolarith, /between/ now!:{ The incredible, stomach wreching dive and
Ked's flame burning the errant clump of silver Thread to ashes.

** Check on Kaolarith, if she is really all right, ** N'mor asked. He
hadn't got a chance to see them return from /between/, has she been
quick enough?

}: Hey, Kaolarith, is your hide intact? :{ the bronze asked, his tone
friendly and concerned.

}:It is. Mine thanks yours for the warning,:{ the green answered back.

}: She's fine and thankful, :{ Ked reported, not too accurately.
N'mor wondered if he should go to talk with T'shen. Did he had the
energy to face him?

He also needed to remove straps from Ked, so he streightened and turned
around. And realized that he didn't have to go looking for T'shen, he
was walking right past him.

"Hi, T'shen," he greeted, sounding if not friendly then at least
neutral.

"Thanks for the heads up, N'mor," the greenrider nodded and made to walk
right past him.

"You're welcome, we were just doing our duty," N'mor replied. They still
had unresolved issue between them and the youngster gathered his courage
to face it. The longer he post poned it the harder it would get. "Uh,
T'shen, about that stuff in last month...."

The greenrider stopped, rolling his eyes. Did he not see he was
walking? There was a bathing pool calling his name rather loudly at
that moment. "Yes, what about it?"

"I want to apogolize to you. I over- reacted, and I'm sorry. I shouldn't
have threatened you with a broken nose," N'mor said, his tone sincere
and slightly nervous.

T'shen put his hands on his hips as he looked at the bronzerider. "And
it took you _this_ long to figure that out?"

"Not actually, finding the courage to do it took longer," N'mor replied.
He couldn't lose anything by honesty. As far as he saw it, he had
nothing left to lose.

The greenrider wasn't that impressed. "Ah, you had to _find_ the
courage, did you? And where was it hiding?"

"In a closet," N'mor replied.

"Haha, cute," T'shen said with a sarcastic smile. "Dig a little deeper.
You might have left other things in there."

"Maybe you would like to help me?" N'mor asked and found himself smiling
despite everything.

"Wait, now you're propositioning me?" The greenrider shook his head.
"You are one confused little man."

"Maybe," N'mor shrugged his shoulders wearily.

"Well if you keep your wits about you and protect your hide, maybe one
of these days you'll be old enough to figure something out. I'll give
you a hint to start you off - it's best to keep your courage with you at
all times. There's little use looking for it after the fact."

"Thank's for the advice," N'mor said.

"Thanks for the warning." With a graceful flip of his head, T'shen
turned on his heel and continued towards the bathing pool.

"Well, I can't say if that went well or not," N'mor said to himself. He
started to remove straps from Ked.
