Date Posted: 24th May 2010

Characters: Amowyn, Aavyn, Aavyn, M'tonin
Description: Amowyn decides to move.
Location: Garnet Valley Hold
Date: month 9, day 8 of Turn 5

Amowyn glanced around her small quarters. She wanted to make sure she had everything. Outside a brown rider waited to take them to their new home. Amowyn had thought long and hard about moving. When M'tonin had asked her to move to the weyr with him, she had been very unsure. Aavyn had just gotten used to the hold and even made a few friends.

Then M'tonin had come into their lives. He had been visiting the hold when he had seen her. They had talked and became good friend. Then he had started visiting regularly. When he had offered to take them to the weyr she had been sure it was a joke. He had meant it. She had debated for a few sevendays before asking her daughter. Aavyn had smiled her sweet smiled and told her it would be an adventure.

So here they were, packing what they had and preparing to take themselves to the weyr. They had said their goodbyes. She quickly tied the last tie on her one good rug, smiled as M'tonin deftly lifted it and walked outside. She looked up at the towering brown and had a moment of fear. She had heard so much about the weyrs. So many things would be different. She nearly bolted saying she couldn't. Then her daughter came running out. She carried her much loved stuffed dragon and looked up to her with pure excitement and trust.

Amowyn pulled her into her arms and they turned to look one last time at their home. A soft wind played with the end of her long black braid and tousled her daughter's twin ponytails. They were ready. She turned to climb up the brown's forearm and then situate herself. Then turned as M'tonin handed up her daughter. Once they were secure he climbed up himself and they were off. With in moments they were circling for one more aerial view. Then they were in the nothingness of /between/.
