Jaylene

With a big silly grin, Jaylene opened her door and danced in to her
new weyr, with it's separate sleeping room and kitchen and most
importantly, bathing pool. Singing a silly tune and waving her arms
over her head, she said to P'veas and M'van, "what'd you boys think?
Isn't it great?"

"It's big," M'van said.

"Isn't it?" She grabbed him by the sleeve. "Come look at_this_" And
she dragged the boys to eye the bathing pool.

"Makes me want to try swimming in it, "P'veas said cheerfully. "It's big
enough for a stroke or two."

"Isn't it? We could have a pool party! Invite some bronze boys and
have our wicked way with them!"

"Well not that they'd want that with me, " M'van grinned, "but if you know
any lovely ladies to join in..."

P'veas chimed in with, "I know a vintner who'd bring some great ales..."

"Yes, save all the bronze boys for P'veas and myself..and J'zen!" she
teased. Hearing P'veas talk about ales, she asked, "Oh? That'd be
nice...we should do it! Invite Uetia and her boy, and E'rae, U'fouinn
and some others. Maybe even see if Im're's up for it yet." A quick
shadow crossed her face as she thought about the blue rider that was
so badly injured.

"It'll be a squash in there," M'van joked.

"Like we all wouldn't enjoy that!" P'veas said with a grin.

"Exactly! And come look at this.." She led them to Reanth's new
wallow. "It's huge!"

"She'll be wanting company in there, no doubt." M'van grinned. "How long
before she finds a bronze to snuggle up with?"

"I wish! She's already talking about having two blues in there! So
unfair...probably be the lifemates of the gayest boys she can find
too." Jaylene rolled her eyes. "With my luck as well, they'll
probably have both slept with J'zen too."

"So how long before J'zen gets here then?" asked P'veas. "You can't tell me
he didn't want to see this place."

"Hmm...you taking a fancy to him?" She sat back and studied P'veas,
thinking he and J'zen might actually make a nice match. Only they
might end up fighting over who was the prettier of the two...

"He's good company," was all P'veas would admit to.

"Hmm...!" She'd have to file that info into her brain to tell Jayonne
later. Maybe the two of them could scheme their brother and P'veas
together. "Well, he's still on sweep, unfortunately for you. He had
that really long one over Rock Head's Hold and back to Green Brook."

"So later then?"

"Yes...later. Should I have him meet you here or just go to your weyr
and 'get ready'?"

"How about we see you in the dining cavern for dinner?" suggested M'van. "We
could round up a few more people for that party."

"Yeah, that's be good! We could have a few drinks, then come up for
a big pool party!" Jaylene smiled, but had her mind now on what
P'veas had said about her brother. Poor J'zen had been searching for
the perfect weyrmate for so long..had Mr. Perfect been under his nose
all along and he had overlooked him? She'd have to think this one
over.

"Well in that case, I better go and do evening rounds, all those dragons
need checking on." M'van said, "There's a green with a wing strain I need to
check on."

"I'll see you down there?" Jaylene walked the boys to the door. She
had a lot to think about now..and none of it had to do with having a
new weyr.

"You will," P'veas told her with a grin.
