Messages and egg

Description: Aletta delivers a message and recives a firelizard egg from Fieayz
Location: Smith Hall (NPC)
Date: month 10, day 5 of Turn 3

"Excuse me miss? Could you direct me to the hallseconds office? I have a message for him and I've never been here before." Aletta stopped a young woman who at least looked like she knew where she was going.

"Of course greenrider," replied Fieayz. She gave the young woman a smile.
"Dolphin Cove, isn't it?"

Aletta returned the smile, "Yes, I don't do messege runs often but a friend asked for a favor so here I am."

"I understand," Fieayz gestured in the direction to which they should go.
"The Hallsecond's office is this way."

"Thank you." Aletta pulled the message out of her belt pouch before they reached the door.

At that point, Arva chose to appear, chittering as she sat on her mistress' shoulder. "I'm surprised you've appeared," she said to the little gold. "She clutched a few days ago," said Fieayz by way of explanation. "Last time I couldn't get her away from the eggs."

"A clutch? Thats wonderful. Are all the eggs spoken for?"

"Not as yet," replied Fieayz as they walked along the corridors. "Some people have already asked me about them."

"Well, congradulations on your clutch little gold. And that you for showing me the way." Aletta smiled and disaaperared into the office.

Fieayz couldn't help but admit to being intrigued by the greenrider, she had to be about the same age as herself, and seemed to have so much freedom. So she decided to wait around, and make sure that the girl got bacvk outside to her dragon. Shame she wasn't from River Bluff though, ran through her head, she might have been able to take a message to R'zan and her mother.

Aletta walked back out to Farsith, she'd been told that she didn;t need to wait for an answer. She say the older girl near the enternce. "Hello agian." On impulss she asked. "Would you like to meet Farsith?"

"I'd love to," the thought that Daynar might not approve crossed he mind briefly. However, being polite to a dragorider was never wrong, was it?

"Farsith say hello." the green extended her neck and blinked, studing the girl. }:She has a firelizard? Can I have one?:{ Aletta laughed softly, "She's been asking me to get a firelizard and she noticed your little gold."

"My duty to you," said Fieayz formally. "There are still some eggs left, if you'd like one."

"Thank you, would it be ok to take it with me or do I need to wait a few days?" she asked suprised the other girl had offered.

"I'll get it for you, if you can keep it safe /between/. To be honest, I'd rather they were taken away from here. The Hallmaster doesn't like them, he thinks they are pests and if I know it's going to be safe elsewhere..."

"It'll be safe at the Weyr no doubt. To bad your hall master doesn't like them, they can be usful. I'll wrap it up and keep it in my jacket, that should keep it warm enough till I get home."

"Thank you for taking this, and perhaps, perhaps you could do me a favour?"

"I can try. WHat do you need?"

"Could you take something to the Vintner Hall for me? To Hallsecond Diagoro?"

"I'd be happy too. Family?"

"He's been a very good friend to me and my family," replied Fieayz. "If you could take a couple of the eggs to him? I'll write a note explaining it.
Consider your egg as payment."

"We'll be happy to take the eggs for you, Farsith could use the practice."
Aletta smiled. "Was there anything else you need while I'm there?"

"No," she replied. "If you can give me a moment, I'll get that note and the eggs for you."

Aletta nodded with a smile. To Farsith she said, }: Looks like your getting your little friend after all.:{ Fieayz was as quick as she could be, quickly persuading Arva to let her wrap three eggs up. It took her a moment or two to write a note, then get back to the waiting greenrider. "This really is appreciated," she said.

"I'm glad to help. The hall second is who you want these taken too right?"

Fieayz nodded, "That's right."

"All right then, thank you for the egg and have a good day." Aletta reached up to grab Farsith's riding straps.

"You too greenrider."

Faristh waited until the older girl had steped away before leaping skyward, dissapering between.
