Arippa turned with a giant smile after the door closed to give them a
moment of peace before the rather large Turn's Beginning Gather and
the party to celebrate all the couples who had married today.

"Oh Reven," she fairly glowed. "I can't believe it, we're really married."

Reven smiled, not wasting a moment of their privacy as he swept Arippa
into his arm and kissed her properly, the way he had wanted to during
their vow exchanging. When he pulled back it was reluctantly, and only
because they were still expected to attend the celebrations that
followed. While Reven normally enjoyed parties and gatherings, he had
no other wish than to spirit Arippa off to Green Valley.

"I know," the man agreed, "that ceremony was certainly tedious enough."

Mention of the ceremony made a realization dawn on the Holder and he
smiled at Arippa as he reached into his pocket and drew out a velvet
pouch, "The gold mark was customary," he referred back to the symbolic
mark he had given her during the ceremony, "but I wanted to get you
something that was just from me. Just for us."

Her hands went to her mouth as she gazed at the beautifully wrought
pendant on a leather cord. A large oval garnet adorned the bottom of
an ornate silver oval. It was surrounded with intricate wire work and
up the sides of the oval were smaller faceted stones. At the top bale
a single perfect stone hug pendant in the space of the oval.Where it
met above the large stone were their two initials entwined. Her finger
traced the R and A in wonder. "It's beautiful," she said in awe.

Reven smiled at the appreciation he saw on his new wife's face. Even
though they were now married Reven knew very little about Arippa's
tastes so the process of picking out the necklace had been
painstaking. He had even enlisted Relea's opinion on it to make sure
that it was something a lady would like.

"It's not nearly as beautiful as you." He took the necklace, swept her
hair from her neck and secured it in place.

Arippa watched him secure the necklace in a nearby mirror and the
fingers of one hand touched it where it lay against her skin just
above the swell of her breasts. "Thank you," she said to his
reflection.

Dipping his head, Reven pressed a kiss to the back of Arippa's neck
sensually, "I do not want to go back out there and have to share you
with everyone." He said honestly.

His warm breath on her neck sent a shiver down her back. "Don't stop,"
she said in a surprising husky voice. She was frightened and
exhilarated at the same time and she didn't know what to do with it.

Reven didn't have to be told twice, and he certainly didn't need more
invitation to touch his wife. There was no need to worry about
reputations or social etiquette now that they belonged to each other.
Slipping his arms around Arippa's waist, Reven pressed her hips firmly
back against his as he continued raining kisses along her neck, and to
the tender spot just behind her ear.

She shivered again and sank against him and she could feel his tall
strength all along her back "Oh Reven," she sighed.

The man loved the way he could feel Arippa's body begin to tremble
against his under the assault of his lips. Smiling against her skin,
Reven's lips went back to her ear, "How much time do you think we have
before we need to get back?"

"I don't know," she breathed. She was so overwhelmed by the intensity
of the sensations he was building in her and she only knew she wanted
more of whatever it was.

With an eye to the door, which was blissfully locked, Reven lifted
Arippa and retreated back to a lounge in the private parlor. Sitting
her in his lap, with her back pressed to his chest, he continued his
ministrations, his lips pressing to the smooth juncture of her neck
just above her shoulder. Reven ran one of his own, large, work
roughened hands up to cup his wife's breast through her dress. He felt
as if he hated waited an eternity for this moment with Arippa.

Goosebumps raised on her skin from the spot where his hot breath and
lips caressed her skin and she quivered with the intensity of
sensation. Arippa sucked in a sharp breath in surprise when his hand
cupped her breast.

Reven's hand slid up her thigh, toward the apex of her legs, when a
knock sounded at the door. For a moment the man's hands froze, his
head raising as he looked up. A small growl of irritation escaped
Reven as he stood and set Arippa to her feet, his hands automatically
straightening his clothes.

"It seems we will have to continue this later, my love." He winked.

Arippa was dazed by the whole experience but the knock brought her
crashing back and though she was shaken she gave him a smile. "Yes,"
she replied as she tried to rearrange her clothing and hide any muss
their exploration had caused. She looked quickly in the mirror and
noticed her reddened lips that had been so nicely kissed just moments
before. She just knew that everyone outside the door would know what
had been going on in the small room. She put her hand on his arm with
shining eyes. "Alright," she nodded. She was ready to face the
reception.

Reven was not ready to face the reception, he was ready to throw
Arippa over his shoulder and take her back into the room to continue
their moment of privacy. However, etiquette dictated otherwise, and
for the moment Reven would play along like a good Minor Holder should.
