Her frustration was mounting again. She _had_ to do something to blow
off some steam. Kenza reached out to Solith but found the green dragon
sleeping.
"Shard it," she muttered, her hand closing into a fist as though to
smack the table beside her. Flying wildly had helped her when she was
in this kind of mood before. Yet, she couldn't wake the green. She'd
done that to her far too many times.
Her eyes flicked to the bottle that sat nearly empty on the shelf.
Disgusted she looked away from it. _That_ had also become far too
common lately. She'd vowed to stay away from it, but the other night.
Kenza sighed and shook her head. She'd given in again and look what it
had gotten her....nothing and nowhere.
"If I can't fly and I can't drink," she muttered to herself, "there's
only one thing I can think of that will work." Pushing out of her
chair, she left her weyr in search of some company to occupy her time
for the next few candlemarks.
"Kenza, whoa! What's the rush?" Sh'lua said, almost collinding with
the Wingthird. The bluerider flashed her a grin.
It took her a moment to register who she'd almost run into.
"Sh'lua?" she questioned. "What brings you to this part of the weyrs?"
She wasn't far from her own weyr and knew she might be able to entice
him to join here there if he didn't already have other plans.
"I met my daughter," Sh'lua replied with a smile.
"Oh," Kenza replied, doing her best to conceal her own emotions at the
mention of his daughter. Her own spiral out of control began with the
realization that she would never hold the babe she lost in her arms.
Never be a mother again. Not that she felt she'd done such a great job
at that in the first place, but still, the loss was real for her.
"That's good," she managed to add, before turning the subject. "Are
you busy this evening?" She lifted an eyebrow in a questioningly way
and her eyes held a seductive look to them.
"Not particulary. Have you something in your mind?" Sh'lua answered and asked.
"I do, actually." She paused, and moved closer to him. "I'm feeling
rather lonely tonight, Sh'lua. I could use some company?" The last was
said with a raise of her eyebrows and a question in her voice.
"Well, you know me. I never say never to offer like that," Sh'lua
replied. His grin was as cocky as any bronzerider's.
"Follow me," Kenza took his hand and all but dragged him along to her
weyr. As the door closed, she turned and with a seductive smile began
to unlace her tunic so he could easily see her ample bosom. She was
inviting him to feast and to enjoy and in turn she would get the
satisfaction that would help her forget the hurt that dragged at her
heart.
Sh'lua stepped closer to pull her to his arms. "Well, now. You're a
gal to my liking," he said.
"Show me just how much you like it, Sh'lua," Kenza purred, reaching
her hands to start undoing the ties that held his clothes together.
"I'm at your comand, wingthird," Sh'lua said and gave her a rather rough kiss.
Kenza chuckled with amusement and returned the kiss eagerly. Her body
took over, allowing her mind to stop thinking on the reasons behind
her actions. **No, I will _not_ think about that any longer,** she
chided herself and gave into the whims of the flesh to appease the
ache of her heart.
