Description: K'ale wins another of Awenth's Flight and he and Cardella continue to bond.

Awenth's flight had gone well. Cardella had anticipated it coming for
days. She was actually relieved when all was said and done.

Now, sighing happily, she shifted on the bed, not even certain who had
been the lucky winner.

"K'ale?" She both stated and asked as she realized who was with her.
She smiled happily. "Apparently Awenth has a particular attraction to
Imalkyth." **As I do to you,** she thought but didn't speak aloud.

He chuckled, "I'm sure he feels the same." He dropped a kiss on her
shoulder. "Are you alright?"

She smiled and stretched, shifting so she could land across his chest.
"Better than alright," Cardella replied. Her fingers slowly tracing
lazy circles on his chest. "I'm _always_ alright when you are with
me."

A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth and he kissed the top of her
head. He was feeling very good about the direction their relationship
seemed to be taking. He'd been raised in the Weyr and both his parents
were dragon riders so he'd seen the best and the worst of
relationships that seemed to move around like revolving doors. He
didn't' think he was really fond of that kind of thing so he was a bit
more reserved than the randy blue riders. But then perhaps that was
one reason he'd been chosen by Imalkyth.

Her fingers making circles on his chest told him she probably would
probably enjoy more play and he was more than willing to go there with
Cardella. His fingers found a perky breast and he began to knead and
tweak.

"Oh!" She replied, shifting to give him better access. Her smile
lighting up her face. She'd had a few partners, mostly in flights, but
being with K'ale made her the happiest. Her fingers continued their
play along his chest, up his neck. She moved again so she could plant
a kiss on his cheek eager for him to turn so she could kiss him for
real.

Her kisses were sweet and he returned them in kind. His hand released
her breast and pulled her closer. There was no denying their pleasure
in one another and he deepened the kiss before starting on her ear,
neck and shoulder. His breathing became deeper and his hands roamed.

Her own breathing matched his as her own hands sought what she wanted.
Once she did, all she wanted was to feel the intense pleasure she knew
would follow. All her actions and reactions were geared towards
achieving that goal as she gave herself to the man she loved once
again.

K'ale smiled as he tried to regain control. But then he chuckled at
his sense of victory. "They must have heard you all the way to Amber
Hills."

She was basking in the glow of their love-making. His comment however,
earned him a major smack on the arm. Then she giggled a bit.

"I _hope_ I wasn't really _that_ loud." Cardella was grinning even as
she said it. She didn't care if everyone had heard them. She was
happy. She was such a different girl, no wait, woman, than when she'd
first come to the Weyr.

"Oww," he said in mock pain and began laughing. "The sounds you make
are quite rewarding." He propped himself up on his elbow and looked
down at her. "It helps to know I'm pressing the right buttons."

She chuckled, and then sighed, "Oh you press the right buttons
alright, K'ale, better than anyone else."

Well that certainly pumped his ego. **Better than anyone else eh? Not
bad.** But then he knew he should return the compliment. "You're a
very inspiring companion Cardella."

His compliment made her smile. She sighed happily. "I enjoy being with
you K'ale."

Something changed inside him at her simple statement. Even later he
wouldn't know quite what but impulsively he said, "then come have
dinner with me Cardella, and maybe stay with me tonight."

"I would love that," she replied with a smile and a sigh.
