Reports for Dragonsfall Weyr

March 7th 2009

This has been a month full of changes, old friends, and new relationships at Dragonsfall!

It sounds like greenrider R'haran might be moving his family to Dolphin Cove. He talked with Sevillia about the possibility and asked her if she might consider coming, but she has her own life at Dragonsfall.

Y'nub met up with Jerrol. These two rogues shared a drink and talked about business. They talk of luck and rumors.

D'ryne's friend Shaiya is considering returning to the Weyr. They were friends before her Weyrmate was killed in a Fall. Despite their painful past, they are both happy to see each other and make plans for dinner.

Aileyan and U'kaiah met up down on the beach. Their children were both enjoying the restday sunshine. It seems Aileyan's yougn son was fascinated with Kaiafel's puppy, Kal. It's nice to see families enjoying time together!

Speaking of families, it seems Nia has been having quite a time trying to decide what to do about her small family. She has decided life at the Weyr is not for her, that there is too much immorality and too many painful memories. She wanted to move home to Amber Hills with her daughter. When she told her love interest, K'lar, he quickly propsed that she become his Weyrmate. Her mind was made up, though, and went to tell Birigundi, her daughter's father, of her decision. He was very upset that she would move her daughter so far away from him, and said some painful, nasty, though perhaps some true things, in a despirate attempt to make her stay. His arguments worked. She could not leave the Weyr for a world where her daughter would be nothing more than a bastard child. But what could she do? The only thing she could do was accept K'lar's proposal. She informed Biri of her decision to stay at the Weyr as K'lar's weyrmate. The news was hard for him to take. He is afraid that he will be replaced, not only in Nia's life, but in his daughter's life as well. His angry reaction promped Nia to move in with K'lar that very night, perhaps sooner than she was really ready for. When it became obvious that there would be a serious change in her relationship with the brownrider now that they were Weyrmated, she was taken off guard. Hopefully she can settle into her new situation soon!

Another relationship that is going unexpected places is Karri and L'rew's! The greenrider confronted him about his lack of experience. L'rew's pride was hurt and he proposed that if she was so concerned, maybe she should sleep with him. That took her off guard, but when she called his bluff he paniced, asking her to postpone it a day. Karri was a little hurt and ran off to ask Teseada's advice about what to do. Teseada reassures her that he didn't reject her, the he had probably just been nervous. We'll see how that all works out!

T'mahl has a busy month. First he dealt with Weyrling J'nev. He had been caught throwing firestone at one of the Weyrling Assistants. Seems that boy has a lot of anger that is not being channeled in positive directions! E'naer came to him with some new ideas about how to impress apon their weyrlings that safety was paramount. It sounds like they'll be roasting ovine with dragonfire as a demonstration.

The big news, of course, is that T'mahl won the Weyrleadership when his bronze caught the senior gold. This was a surprise to him as well as to Kapera, though they both seem determined to make the best of it. E'naer came to congratulate the former Werylingmaster on his new promotion while T'mahl was finishing up hidework. It was good to know he'd be missed.

Kapera, however, was rather sad at the outcome of the Flight. She had spent more time with J'nus this month, going off on a fishing trip together. The discussed the path she would have taken if she had not Impressed. J'nus, for his part, also met B'ron, a former aquaintance of Kapera's who has just moved to the Weyr. He was trying not to hold that fact against the new rider. After the Flight, Kapera realized she had wanted J'nus to win. She goes to him and they finally consumate their relationship. Looks like Kapera might be changing her ways!

This has been a busy month at Dragonsfall, and more is in store! Why not make a persona today and join in the fun?
