Things haven't been easy at Dragonsfall this month. There is a lot of tension in the air, and more to come, which should make for some really fun stories in the coming months!
J'nev is back in trouble again! E'naer overhears the weyrling badgering a young blue weyrling in his group. The Weyrlingmaster Third decides to remove J'nev as a group leader, feeling that he is showing a serious lack in judgement. Just what does J'nev have against blueriders, anyway?
Trealeina finds romance with a visiting rider, Mi'lane. He helps her gain some experience before her green rises and it sounds like there is a strong mutual attraction. This is back news for R'len, who was not happy to see the two of them together! How will he handle the situation now that the rider has headed back to his Weyr?
Nia and Biri's daughter Lyndi's first birthday party was postponed due to the goldflight. That didn't stop people from coming, nor did it stop K'lar from pampering his new weyrmates daughter for her first birthingday. This really angers Birigundi, thinking that K'lar is trying to take his place in his daughter's life. He takes the opportunity to inform Nia and K'lar that he has decided that he wants to have Lyndi for the restdays from now on, and if they chose to fight him on it he would go to the harpers for litigation and ask for equal custody. There was no way Nia was going to give him their daughter equal time, and so reluctantly she agrees. They make arrangements to pick up and drop of Lyndi at the fostermothers so that they never have to meet each other face to face again.
Despite all this turmoil, however, there is room for some happy news. Teseada found time to catch up with an old friend. Her old friend from her apprentice days, R'saw, was visiting from Far Island Weyr. They talk about their latest news over fudge (klah fudge, I'm sure!)
And finally, Taia met up with Lirit and they decided to take their canines out for a walk together. Taia has a new as yet unnamed pup that she wants Scout to set a good example for. They chat about life, crafting, canines and headstrong women. Is it just me, or does Taia have a bit of a crush on the harper?
Lots of drama is in the works at Dragonsfall, including a most unpresidented grab for power! Just how long will T'mahl remain the new Weyrleader of Dragonsfall? U'kaiah's already waiting in the wings... Why don't you make a persona and join in the fun???
