N'call meets Karri and they talk eventually agreeing on a lunch date for the next day. N'call tells her about how he accidently Impressed and his dreams of obtaining master harper knots.
D'wrayt calls N'vanik in to check up on him and thank him for his caring for Talryne. The Weyrleader tries to get an answer for why compliments from him aren't believable.
D'wrayt goes to tell J'nus that U'kaiah has been given back his wing. He asks the bronzerider to consider taking the wingsecond vacancy in Azure and J'nus accepts the position.
Talryne and N'vanik discuss a visit to see her family. She asks him to take her and have dinner with them. Things seem to have gotten better between Talryne and N'vanik since the night she ran out on him after their kiss that overwhelmed her with emotion and desire at the same time. She realized she loves him at the moment. N'vanik talked with Loseth about the events of that night and the bronze told him that he needed people. He later finds Talryne and they talk about what happened that night and come to the decision to think things over.
U'kaiah helps Arilanna when she goes into labor after Threadfall while D'wrayt is busy taking care post Fall reviews. U'kaiah goes to get another healer when Arilanna's water breaks and she asks him to stay with her.
Karri speaks with Tatitem about the candidates who were supposed to help her to bathe her green who didn't show up. Luckily R'haran was there to help her as her leg is still healing from her accident. T'mahl and Karri discuss her working with the candidates and the greentrider his relieved to be up and doing something.
N'vanik gives N'call some advice on how to talk to women after watching an amusing encounter between the bronzerider and a woman.
Teseada has another run in with Y'nub and this time his friend D'enek is with him. The bronzerider thinks that perhaps he could still have a chance with her, but she tells him differently. D'enek tells Y'nub that he would find him someone more his type.
R'haran takes the children to go see the puppies that the beastcrafters are caring for and talks with Taia. He also talks with Sahna about a visit he made to a friend who may not be living much longer.
T'nac is called to visit Maiz by Indyath. She admits that she misses him and tries to make him understand that she wants someone who will be there for her and the baby. He tells her that he wants to be there and is satisfied that she didn't give him a definite no as she seems to be still suffering from past problems.
The ship Silver Sails has stopped at Dragonsfall for three days. Sarian is there to greet Jerroll when the ship docks.
Harki seems to be obsessed with getting rid of V'kelo's hideous pair of pants. She spotted him wearing them in the dining cavern and confronted him about them. Then later on, she goes to the trouble of finding a pair of pants that look like they might fit to trade them out. When she goes to try to steal the pants, V'kelo answers the door wearing them. He tries to make her an offer for them, but she doesn't want to sleep with him just for him to get rid of the pants. She debates various ways to steal the pants and then attempts to do so. Things seem to go well until she hurts herself and wakes the brownrider up. Harki ends up leaving without the heinous pants. Will she ever win the attempt to part V'kelo from the annoying pants?
R'haran reads the letters from the nephew that he never had a chance to know and learns a bit about the man. He also realizes that he has responsibilities that he never had thought he would have. He finds the children a foster mother with Sevilla so that the children wouldn't have to be split up as they were insistant about being together.
J'nus and U'kaiah arrange to meet in the Wingleader's weyr to discuss the current state oif the wing. J'nus finishes clearing out the office and wonders how he managed to collect so much stuff in such a short time.
