Many things have been afoot at the Vintner Hall this month. With Daigoro's troubles at the Hall, the death of the Lord Holder at the Hold and a new Turn all over Pern, things have been hopping!

First of all, Daigoro felt the need to call in a bit of extra help from his father this month. After his wife lost their baby, he sent his father a letter to ask advice on how best to help his much loved wife. His father encouraged him to be an encouragement and support for his wife during her time of need. However, that didn't go as well as Daigoro had hoped since he, thinking it was too soon, canceled their Turns End trip plans and failed to tell her until he found her packing their bags. Though he knew he had screwed up, he tried to make it up to her by taking her to a private dinner at the Taver. In his own words, it was no boat trip, but Cinale seemed to appreciate his efforts all the same.

Zathris came to the Hall's tavern to have a chat with Zandrue one day. The Tavern Master asked about how things were going at the Hold and about the Lord Holder's sons and potential heirs. Zathris has his own choice as to who might be Lord Holder, but it's up to the Conclave to decide now. Zathris also spent an afternoon sampling Barthella's new creations along with Journeywoman Isily. We expect they both survived the adventure.

Finally, greenrider G'len came to the Hall to celebrate Turns end AGAIN (having already had time to sleep off his first celebration of the evening). He promised Barthella to be her date for the evening, much to Zandrue's surprise (and worry that he might try to dance with men). They shared a quick dance before Barthella had to run off and attend her duties.

Things are a hopping at the Hall! Will Zathris become a regular and will he bring news of a new Lord Holder? Will Cinale finally get over her miscarriage and will Daigoro have the patience to wait until she does? Will G'len become a regular and will he stick to charming women?
