Reports for Dolphin Hall

May 1st 2009

On day 7 of month 2, kitchen-hand Swift and journeywoman Kateena's long-awaited baby was born - a son they have named Fleet to fit in with his father's name and that of his much older (Northern Continent resident) brother, Race.

Mid-month 2 the new Hall Headwoman meets pregnant apprentice Ylisahn, Alydelle and tries to make friends with the girl, though she's not sure how successful she is.

A few days later journeywoman Trellyn, apprentice Alydelle, and the Hallmaster discuss the reports coming from the dolphins about a hurricane heading for their part of the coast, though nobody is expecting it to be as devastating as the last one to hit the Dolphin Cove area.

The next morning there is an urgent report from the dolphins of a ship wrecked on a rocky island chain some distance away. Journeywomen Trellyn and Yara report in turn to Hallmaster Leisenn and the three women work to identify which islands the dolphins mean and then Trellyn and Leisenn go to the Weyr to ask the Weyrleader if his riders could help transport the dolphineers to the site.

In May posts set at the Dolphin Hall attract an extra 3 marks per writer since the Hall is the bonus location for posting! Three marks - in addition to the 2 already given for 'Post at a Hall'. Great mark-making opportunity, don't you think? ;o)
