"Finally a restday where I don't have to do personal errands." With a towel
in one hand, the printer made her way across the Bowl, heading toward the
lake. She had been sunbathing already since coming back from the Hall and
Asley's hair had lightened some with the sunlight. Strolling leisurely, she
glanced from side to side, watching the other Weyrfolk who headed quickly
by. And then she came closer to the water. Picking out a good spot, she set
up her towel and chair. Pulling out a big sunhat, she placed it upon her
head and then she sat down in the chair. Numerous people cavorted in the
water and she heard their laughter.

Smiling to herself, she realized she knew some of them by name. Others she
remembered, though only faces. Most of them, though, were new. And some, to
her delight, were beautiful to look at. Even at the Weyr, she couldn't be
obvious about what she was doing. Still, Asley didn't have to be as careful
or worried about her own safety. After all, she would never Impress so no
one should mind much. There was the consideration of needing work, though.

**She's not much older than me. Also about as tall. Great legs. And the
chest....I'd love to get my hands on those.** Her eyes strayed along the
woman's form, carefully evaluating and perhaps daydreaming a bit in the
process. That female had a beautiful set of eyes too. The black hair....so
long....when it was free it would be glorious to run one's hands through.
Asley sighed and tried not to think about that anymore. It would never
happen anyway.

Shifting her legs a bit, she began to surreptitiously oil them. Rubbing the
skin quieted her racing mind. She remembered the days before she left. She
had friends here. She just had to find them again. Or maybe just one.
Running her hand back and forth, she worked the oil all over each of her
legs. Smooth, they smelled like the fruit it had been made from. Once that
was done, she turned her attention back to the crowd. She closed her eyes
and just sat there for awhile without moving.

Some commotion could be heard over the water. **Wonder what that's about?**
Cracking open one eye, she saw a small group of people who seemed to be
playing a game. Maybe it was water tag. Either way, one of them stood out.
The woman was obviously a rider, but different from the other one. This one
was younger, closer to Asley's own turns if she didn't miss her guess.
Shorter, she was still tall. **A brunette and with a fabulous smile. She
would be a great cuddler. Her laugh....I could lose myself in it.**

It had been a very long time. And each day was becoming increasingly more
difficult. It wasn't that Asley needed female companionship constantly. She
used her work to supplement the drive. However, it was always there. And the
longer it wasn't sated, the more uncomfortable she became. The printer had
found herself daydreaming. It distracted from her work and that was not
acceptable. **And the dining cavern is so hard...**

**That one....I bet she kisses so well.** Shifting her legs again, she tried
to oil her arms but once that task was done, she couldn't find anything else
to occupy her hands with. **This might have been a bad idea. Then again...**
It was at that moment that she saw a figure go past. The girl was young, but
not by Weyr standards. If she had been a holder, she might have easily been
married for a few turns. **Now her rear....I could just place my hands like
so and...** Biting her lip, Asley might have let out a small moan of
frustration if she hadn't caught herself. Picking up the waterskin and
uncapping it violently, she took a few swigs.

Sitting back and closing her eyes again, she managed to fall asleep. Visions
of scantily clad women, laughter, and movement clouded her mind. Her dreams
brought a small smile to her face. Her movements were ever so slight until
she became comfortable in the chair. After some time passed, though, the
heat of the sun finally woke her as well as her body's need to have dinner.
Growling and wiping her lips, Asley began to collect her things. **Now why
couldn't I have slept just a little longer? Oh well, I suppose I'll have to
take care of it back in my quarters.** Grunting, she took off walking back
across the sand, prepared to take matters into her own hands as it were.
