"The children are with their foster mothers, for the next few candlemarks at
least," K'deren said as he poured a glass of wine for himself and for his
weyrmate. "We're alone."
"I like it when we're alone," she said in a husky contralto. It wasn't
all that often they were so so cherished the moments. She reached out
to pluck the glass of wine from his fingers and lift it to her lips.
"Oh this is nice," she smiled. Being the daughter of a Master Vintner
and a dabbler in the craft herself, she knew a fine vintage when she
tasted it.
"So do I," he said with a knowing smile. "And, I found something to add to
our toy box." The bronzerider removed a small, wrapped package from his
tunic pocket.
"Oh did you now," her eyes twinkled and she stepped closer to examine
the package for a clue. Their toy box included leather, lacy pieces of almost
nothing, and fur wrapped naughtiness. It was kept carefully locked away
when not in use. It wouldn't do for the children to get into it after
all.
"Use your eyes now," the brownrider said. "Because with that on..." his
voice held more than a hint of suggestiveness as it trailed off. "It could
be a lot of fun."
"You know how much I like your kind of fun," she purred back at him.
She was already becoming stimulated just from the tone in his voice.
"I know you do, this should heighten your senses, and be very sensual at the
same time."
"Tease," she grinned and started to reach for the package.
"Open it slowly...."
At least she knew to follow instructions when he was like this so she
plucked it from his fingers and pulled the string before unwrapping it
slowly. When she was done she dropped the paper on the table and a
small mask dangled from her fingers. "And what do you intend to do
with this," she asked with a twinkle.
"Get you to wear it," a smile spread across his face. "And then I'm going to
show you the time of your life."
Her grin broadened "I see," she said already anticipating just how he
was going to use his expert moves to drive her crazy. "I'm going to
love this aren't I?" She lifted the mask to her eyes and turned her
back so he could tie it in place.
He gently lifted her hair, with a quick caress as he slowly tied the
strings. "You, are all mine now."
She had been his from almost the moment they'd met but that wasn't the
point of this game. She shivered in reaction to the soft caress, her
other senses heightened by the lack of sight. "I'm very glad you're a
bad man."
"But you are going to be so good, aren't you," he said softly as he spun her
into his arms. "So very good."
She smiled beneath the mask and whispered "Yes sir. Very good."
"You will," he said. "Although I know what to do with bad girls," he teased.
"Yes," she said softly. Then she shivered involuntarily. She was
conflicted on that score at least while her brain was still
functioning. But once he had her where she knew he'd take her, she
knew she'd want it. She'd want to be bad.
K'deren lowered his lips to hers in a kiss. One that started out as soft for
the merest second, before becoming something that demonstrated both passion,
and control.
This was a facet of K'deren she'd been surprised and then delighted to
discover. No matter the seeming situation she was quite happy with
playing her part. Panitath didn't understand but accepted that hers
was happy with the game they played.
She bent to his kiss in acceptance of that control.
"And you are going to follow me into our bedroom, and you're going to listen
to everything I tell you," K'deren said as the kiss broke. "Give me your
hand."
She nodded and lifted her hand as she couldn't see. Yes and no held no
meaning at times like this and she could count on Panitath to pass
along the information if she were ever at a point where she didn't
want to continue their game. She followed him.
Once in the bedroom he spun her around again. "The bed is behind you, you
are going to sit down on there now."
She was disoriented by the spin but trusted him and was about to sit
when a spike from Panitath hit her like a punch in the gut. "No," she
exclaimed and started to rip off the blindfold. "K'deren, it's K'sedel
and Nikornath."
The brownrider blinked in surprise for a moment. "My father?" he said
allowed, even as his own Donneth confirmed the news of the injury his father
had just taken in fall.
She finished pulling of the mask and blinked up at him in concern. "Do
you need to go?"
"I think I do," K'deren said after a moment. "Just to check he's okay."
"Of course," she said. Her eyes were dark with concern. "You must go
now. I'll have Panitath keep in touch with Donneth so don't worry
about me," She put a hand on his arm. "I hope he's alright."
"I need to see for myself,"K'deren said simply, as he began to get ready to
leave.
She just nodded and watched him change.
