Description: After the gold flight.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 9, day 20 of Turn 9
She came to very pleased with her experience. New at the weyr and a
gold goes up! What a way to start out right. There was almost nothing
to compare to the intensity of this kind of flight. The only thing
better would have been if Saryolth had gone up but that would be
fairly soon.
All the bronze riders of the Weyr were present along with quite a few
brave browns. She'd stood in the circle behind all the male riders
encircling the Weyrwoman and one by one they'd turned away as their
lifemates were disappointed by the Senior Queen. She hadn't angled for
any particular rider though there were a number of interesting
choices. She'd stayed in one place while the riders jockeyed for
position around Cyradis mimicking their lifemates in the air. But
then came the danger, J'ackt was in the room. HIs attention was on
Cyradis like every other male so she'd watched him carefully.
She knew who'd grabbed her of course. She'd dodged her nephew's grab
and ended up tangled in K'deren's arms.
There really was nothing like the feeling of coming back to yourself,
knowing that your other self had been flying high, chasing another dragon in
the skies high above the weyr, then coming back to reality in the arms of
the dragon's rider, or the person who was there for you. K'deren had
experienced it many times, but not with this rider. Flashes of memory came
back to him, a short replay of events as Panitath had risen, flown, Donneth
chasing, but then eventually giving way to a bronze.
Opening his eyes, he rolled onto his side, to see a petite greenrider, with
what looked like a wicked grin on her face.
"Hello," she smiled. She rolled toward him so they were quite close.
The beauty of being bed with a very tall man was that height didn't
really matter all that much for pillow talk. "Looks like you did very
well in that flight. You were still in there with all the senior
bronze types."
"Well what can I say, Donneth loves the thrill of the chase." K'deren
stretched out. "he's a trier."
"You're not so bad yourself," she smiled into his hazel eyes.
"He, well both of us like the thrill of the chase, and the aftermath,"
teased K'deren.
She chuckled and twitched an eyebrow. "Would you like some more
aftermath brownrider?"
"Are you offering?" K'deren reached out to offer a caress, making it clear
that he was into the moment.
She answered by simply kissing him, deeply and thoroughly.

Give her credit for brains but when she regained her mind again
smiling softly she didn't blurt out how lucky the Weyrwoman was in her
choice of weyrmate. Oh no, she just sighed and enjoyed the moment. " I
will say," she rolled into his side again. "Saryolth does enjoy brown
most of the time. Feel free to encourage Donneth Wingsecond."
"If she's anything like her rider, she won't need much help to encourage
him. He has a mind of his own, and I let him use it."
Timassa chuckled then swung her feet off the side of the small bed.
"Hungry," she asked as she walked to the sideboard for a glass of
juice and a meat roll.
K'deren had to admit to himself that the view was more than pleasing to the
eye as the greenider poured juice into the waiting glasses. "A drink, yes,
and then maybe a visit to the bathing pool? I could scrub your back?"
"Sounds like a plan," she smiled and brought him a glass. "Though my
nephew is in the next room with his moth and knowing J'ackt there's
going to be some sort of explosion," she chuckled. "Mind if I meet you
there?"
"Not a problem."
"Alright," she said and bent to pick up her clothing. Pulling on her
trousers she fastened them and slipped her feet into her shoes. Then
she tossed her blouse in the air putting her arms in then blew him a
kiss. "See you soon," she smiled and exited the room.
