K'mai

K'mai
I'serin

I'serin

K'mai had done his best to stay busy over the past two sevendays.
Helping out with the disaster, a few parties, visiting friends, taking
people to bed . . . and couches . . . and storerooms . . .

And now that he'd confirmed I'serin had time for him, K'mai had been
busy setting things up. He would rather be in his weyr, or I'serin's,
but they had to be extra careful now so K'mai had gone back to the
isolated beach he'd first brought I'serin to after learning his
secret. This time there was more than a blanket. K'mai had set up a
tent with food, wine, blankets, mattresses, and -- he considered as he
looked things over -- probably too many pillows.

Sebeth had borne all the supplies with minimal complaints, enjoying
his rider's good mood. His tone was light and warm as he bespoke
Aluneth. }:We are here. Mine is very excited.:{

}: We are inbound, :{ Aluneth said. }: Mine is tired but...looking
forward to this. :{ Indeed the last few sevendays had worn I'serin
down in many ways and it had taken a lot of arguing for him to take
this much-needed time off. When the time finally came, I'serin was
ready to shed his duties and just...be. He let Aluneth get the image
from Sebeth as they shifted /between/.

He let out a huff of surprised yet not entirely unexpected laughter
when he saw what K'mai had set up. Aluneth carefully landed so that
his wings did not buffet the tent with their wind. "You continue to
surprise me," I'serin said as he slid down. "Do you intend for us to
spend the night here?" he jokingly asked.

"Yes." Though it was more hope than intend. K'mai pulled him into a
kiss that was sweet and desperate and yearning and relieved and all
the things he'd been holding on to for those long two sevendays.

I'serin initially froze, surprised by the answer, instinctively
stopped at the brazen kiss. Was K'mai serious? Was -- oh, shells, it
did not matter. K'mai's mouth on his opened up a need he had kept
buried beneath duties and crises for the last few sevendays and he
could figure out everything else later. He threaded his fingers
tightly into K'mai's hair and held him fast as he kissed hungrily
back.

K'mai sank into it, arms wrapped around I'serin as emotions swirled
inside him. He wanted to erase that last kiss, the unintentional
betrayal and hurt, the fear and the guilt of it all. Before things
could get even more heated, K'mai pulled gently back. "I want you to
screw me until I can't walk. But first, I have a little gift for you."

I'serin's expression was confused. His gaze went to the tent and all
of the accouterments. He gestured towards it. "Was this...not the
gift?"

Looking over at the tent, K'mai considered it. "Two gifts, then." He
grinned. "Come on." He led the way inside and over to the corner where
he'd set a basket of food and drinks. Beside it was a small box, which
he picked up and handed to the bronzerider. Then K'mai drew himself
up, cleared his throat, and did his best I'serin impression. "I
believe this is the customary apology gift."

When I'serin opened the box, he had to laugh. A customary apology gift
indeed! Humored, he shook the box a little, watching the frosted nuts
jiggle for a moment before looking back up at K'mai. "I suppose this
shall be our gifting theme," he chuckled, thinking about how K'mai had
turned it into such an innuendo that first time. He closed the lid and
kissed K'mai sweetly. "Thank you."

K'mai felt like someone had filled him with sparkling wine, all fizzy
and bright. "I'm glad you like my nuts."

The bronzerider blushed, which revealed a lot about what he was
thinking at that moment. Awkwardly clearing his throat, his gaze went
back to the tent. "You...ah, you _did_ leave some furniture at the
Weyr, correct?"

K'mai laughed, and he too felt a blush rising in his cheeks. "I maybe
went a little overboard." Definitely too many pillows. "I, uh, I
wanted it to be . . . special."

"Simply time away...with you...is special," I'serin admitted. Even as
he said that, something undefined in his chest loosened, like he had
been holding back a living thing that now escaped forth into the
world. But what that thing -- or feeling -- was, I'serin did not have
the right words for it just then. In an effort to find those fleeting
words, he absently stared at the tent.

K'mai was looking too, his heart warmed by I'serin's words even as a
flicker of worried confusion went through him. Was this . . .
romantic? **Obviously in love.** H'run's blighted voice in his head
again. No, he wasn't going to let H'run cast a shadow over this. K'mai
moved to stand behind I'serin, wrapping an arm around his waist and
pulling him close. His other hand tangled in the bronzerider's hair
and tugged gently, pulling his head to the side. "I hope you don't
mind me being impatient," he said as he kissed his way up I'serin's
neck. He nipped I'serin's earlobe, breath coming faster. "I want you
so bad."

Hearing K'mai say that shot equal parts lust and panic through
I'serin's body. Lust eventually won. He tilted his head away to give
K'mai better access, glad that there was not a terrible amount of
difference between their heights, as he let the bluerider's mouth kiss
away the lingering thoughts that clamored to be cataloged and defined.
A soft sigh escaped him.

The way he sighed and yielded to him only increased K'mai's hunger.
"Two sharding sevendays. It felt like forever." He unfastened
I'serin's riding jacket and stepped back to slide it off his
shoulders. Then he bent to the bronzerider's neck again, kissing and
nuzzling as one hand slid under I'serin's tunic. "Do you have any idea
how sexy you are?"

Two sevendays had not felt so long for I'serin, who had been engrossed
in so many other things, but he said nothing to counter that. However
K'mai's second statement, he did not agree with. "Those are words I
usually attribute to you," he murmured, eyes closed as he let himself
enjoy the physical touch.

K'mai chuckled. "You are, though. You drive me absolutely wild." He
pulled off I'serin's tunic, followed by his own. Then he turned
I'serin around, gaze roaming over his chest, his stomach, his
shoulders. "Look at you," K'mai breathed.

The scrutiny, even though positive, caused conflicting emotions of
arousal and awkwardness within the bronzerider. Rather than let K'mai
continue talking, he decided that the best thing to do was to thread
his fingers into K'mai's shaggy hair and kiss him.

The bluerider eagerly returned the kiss and before long he was guiding
I'serin down onto one of the mattresses. His lips and hands kept
moving, wanting to touch him everywhere, his whole body burning with
desire. K'mai rolled I'serin on top of him. "I want you to screw me."

Though the kisses and touches were distracting, the thought of taking
initiative during sex was not something that thrilled I'serin. Not
yet. He was still getting used to the idea that he could even _do_
this. That he was allowed. Which was a silly thought, being a grown
man, but it was still a thought that held him back. His hesitancy
showed in his eyes as he pulled back a little, a dozen scenarios of
what to do, what would K'mai like for him to do, all colliding in his
mind.

"I could tell you what to do." Then K'mai frowned. "Or do you not want
to? Am I pushing too hard again?" The last thing he wanted was to make
I'serin uncomfortable.

The normally loquacious bronzerider struggled to formulate a reply.
"I...you...you should lead," he finally said, hoping that his mind
would stop overthinking about how his inexperience was going to ruin
the moment K'mai had worked so hard to create.

K'mai relaxed into a smile and leaned up to kiss the little wrinkle of
worry between I'serin's brows. "All right. I want you on top, but I'll
be in charge." He pulled I'serin closer and kissed him, then his hands
slid between them to unfasten I'serin's pants.

Relieved, I'serin exhaled and sank into that kiss. He slid his hands
down K'mai's sides, fingers following the waistline of his pants.
While K'mai worked his belt, I'serin's mouth lightly nipped the
bluerider's jaw.

K'mai moaned and arched. That was much better, and the fire of his
lust came roaring back. He shifted to tug I'serin's pants and
underwear over his hips, warm skin gliding under K'mai's hands. "Take
my pants off. Everything off."

***Fade to black***

Trembling, the Weyrleader of Dragonsfall rested his forehead against
the closest part of K'mai that he could touch. As his breathing came
under control once more, he carefully shifted so that he was laying
against K'mai's side, his head on the bluerider's shoulder, his arm
draped across K'mai's torso. He said nothing, preferring to drift in
orgasmic bliss with the bluerider.

Shards and shells. K'mai lay there in a daze, his limbs feeling heavy
and shaky. He tilted his head to rest it against I'serin's and reached
over to run a gentle hand along the man's back. "That was sharding
amazing." Something warm and bright filled his chest.

I'serin merely nodded his head. Lassitude overcame him. He was
comfortable, replete, and K'mai's hand soothed away any thoughts that
threatened to burble up. Honestly, with all of the pillows surrounding
them, a nap sounded like a wonderful idea.

"Stay," K"mai whispered against his hair. "Stay the night."

Too sated, too sleepy to disagree, I'serin hummed a yes and fell asleep.
