It seemed candlemarks before Dysali was able to come out of deep, sated passion to fully awake and trying to remember if it had been Menanth who caught Lillyth at last, or if they'd failed again. A warm body was curled all around her, and she looked up and about between arms and skin to see where they were. They were still down on the mating cots. Selfish dragons, leaving them down here!

But who was them?

}: We will carry you to a weyr if you ask, my rider:{ it was Lillyth's gentle mindvoice, but she was rolling pleasure off of her in waves, and Dysali wasn't sure the green dragon could fly, let along carry her up.
Or them. Them again. Who was it?

}:I chose Menanth:{ came Lillyth's voice again, just as she realized her movements were waking up a very familiar bronzerider shape.

This haze was the most pleasant thing he had experienced. To be so relaxed, so satisfied . . . he reached out to Menanth and felt his feelings echoed. It took a moment for his groggy mind to remember what had happened. When it did, a smile spread across his face and he opened his eyes. "Dysali," D'ren said, shifting enough to kiss her.

"We chose you and Menanth.. we wanted you. " Her words were soft.
"D'ren." There was so much in that one kiss, one uttering of his name.
They were delightfully tangled up together and she could feel the remnants of the Flight still where part of him nestled particularly nicely against her. "Hmm.." she murmured. "Do you suppose they could take us back to one of our Weyrs?"

He gave a deliberately dramatic sigh. "That would involve moving." D'ren smiled, smoothing a strand of sweat-dampened hair from her forehead.
"But on the other hand, it would be more comfortable."

Dysali rolled up on her side, until she was almost on top of him and looked seriously at him. "I'm not done with the flight yet, love...
unless you want to continue burning this off on the mating cots, I think we ought to move.." Her hands trailed down his chest and across his thighs, then between them, in a very suggestive fashion. Menanth protested when D'ren called him, coming as close to a whine as A dragon could. }:But I'm so comfortable!:{
**Please? I'll wash and oil you twice a day for a sevenday if you come get us right now.**

}:Mmmmm . . .:{ Menanth rumbled in his mind.

**_Two_ sevendays,** D'ren would much rather be in a nice soft bed than this over used cot.

}:Alright,:{ The bronze relented.

D'ren turned to Dysali, tracing his finger against her jaw. "I had to Bribe him, but Menanth is coming to get us. Your weyr or mine?"

"I'll help you with whatever you bribed him with, I think we really need to get into the nearest pile of bedfurs.. " she smiled at him, the second wave of dragonlust rising in her eyes and body. Her hand covered his and she leaned into his finger before turning to kiss the tip of it. "Mmmm.. the least we can do is give him his own Weyr to rest in.. ..
so yours." She began to untangle them from each other so she could dress for the short ride up to D'ren's Weyr. She was still mostly dressed, and she laughed in that possessive way as she looked at him. D'ren laughed with her and sat up to untwist his pants from around his ankles. "I think we might have been a little eager."

"I know we were." She caressed a bare thigh before he covered them. Her voice was husky, soft, "I cannot imagine anything better than sharing Lillyth's flights with you, D'ren..." Her eyes were misty from lust but also from thinking of experiencing this with him each and every time Lillyth Rises. Yes, she was carried away in the moment. "Neither can I." He smiled, still enjoying the afterglow. "We plan on winning every_ time." D'ren kissed her again, but cut it short when he heard the rustle of wings. "There's our ride." Grabbing his shirt from the floor, he put a possessive arm around Dysali's waist and led her out to the impatient dragon.

They hurried out to Menanth's bronze form and Dysali smiled at the so familiar shape. Memories of when Lillyth was small, followed by memories of when Menanth was small chased each other around. Her smile was warmed by more than secondary lust as she looked at D'ren with those thoughts in her head. She said quietly to Menanth, "You Flew her well. And your rider Flew me well." Then she laughed and held on to D'ren as they got lifted up. The feel of her body against his so soon after the Flight had his heart racing. The quick ride to his weyr seemed far too long. As soon as they had both dismounted he was kissing her again, leading her as he did toward the sleeping room.

Not surprised, for she felt the same way, Dysali responded enthusiastically to D'ren, returning the kiss and stipping him back out of what few clothes they had managed to put back on for the short dragon ride. They fell into his bed with more left over flight lust, and the more normal, loving lust she always felt for him quickly swallowing her. She was more aggressive than normal, nibbling and kissing at any Exposed skin. It was less intense than the Flight itself had been, but it was also better in some ways. Being in full control had advantages, like being able to take their time . . .

Afterwards, as they lay in each other's arms, D'ren gave Dysali a gentle kiss on the forehead. "I love you," he said, feeling that this might be the happiest moment of his life.

Dysali stirred sleepily under his kiss, murmuring softly in pleasure. He said it to her sometimes, but each time, it was as special as the first. "I love you too, D'ren." Her voice trailed a bit in uncertainity, but she continued anyway. "I know this is a Weyr, but I cannot imagine any other man in my bed, my heart, or catching my dragon..." She ran her fingers along his bare chest. "You and Lillyth make me the happiest girl on Pern." He smiled at her, studying her beautiful blue eyes. "I can't think of Sharing this with anyone else, either." D'ren took her hand and kissed her fingers, one at a time. "And now that Menanth has caught Lillyth, he should be able to again, and again, and again." The words were punctuated with kisses. Dysali breathed in happily and cuddled close to her love. "Lillyth has said it. She has long liked him, the way I like you..." she giggled slightly, running a hand along his side. "Can I stay here tonight? I don't really want to go back to my Weyr, and our dragons are curled up just like this.."

"You don't even have to ask, love," he told her softly.

Dysali smiled and snuggled down beside him. Faranth, it would be wonderful to spend Lillyth's Flights with D'ren, like this, every time.
Sleep began to steal over her again as she said softly, "I can't wait for her next Rising now.."

The bronzerider smiled. "Me either."
