Time For A Swim

Description: N'kalen and Myanth join Trellyn and Kibb for a swim
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 1, day 17 of Turn 4

N'kalen grinned as Myanth winged his way down to land on the beach.
Myanth was fascinated by dolphins, and he was finally getting a chance to be in the water with them.

"Good day, dragonrider." Trellyn called from the water where her and Kibb were enjoying a swim together.

"Greetings. I hope your day has been pleasant thus far."
N'kalen waved and headed for the water's edge. "Now, at the Weyr I usually swim nude, but I did bring some swimming clothes. I can change here, or is there somewhere else you would prefer?"

Not that she minded a nicely sculpted dragonrider body, it was courtious enough of him to bring swimwear. "I'll just turn my back."
she said as she followed through and added with a tease, "I promise not to peek."

N'kalen grinned. "Peek if you want to." He quickly shed his clothing and put on the swimwear. "All done."

"Kibb wants to know if your dragon will swim too." Trellyn relayed the message. Dolphins were forever fascinated with the large "sky swimmers".

"You could not keep Myanth out of the water if you tried. He has be _waiting_ to swim with the dolphins!" N'kalen grinned as he started to wade in. "Can Myanth come in now?"

Kibb whistled excitedly at Trellyn who patted her partner as she tread water. "Sure. Kibb is the only one around right now, but if your dragon wants more playmates all he has to do is bugle into the water.
They'll hear for a good distance and come play if they're interested."

**Alright, in you go!** N'kalen laughed as Myanth splashed out into the water and followed at a more sedate pace. He swam out to Trellyn, and tread water next to her as Myanth and Kibb got to know each other. }:
This is fun! :{ "I'm Trellyn by the way." the dolphineer said, realizing she didn't know her new swimming companion's name.

"N'kalen here. That's Myanth playing with your dolphin." He grinned as Myanth bugled under the water. "I take it that means we'll have more company?"

Trellyn nodded, "Probably. They know they don't _have_ to come, but they really enjoy playing with the dragons, so if there are any nearby they'll probably show up soon."

"Well, I think Myanth will enjoy that. He's been really wanting to swim with the dolphins for some time now."

The journeywoman swam and watched as Kibb and the blue dragon played in the waves. She scanned the hoizon and laughed as she picked out four fins speeding towards them. "Looks like it's Myanth's lucky day!"
