The Wingleader eased back in his chair until he had it balanced on its rear legs, then wedged his booted feet against the edge of the desk.
With the three pages of closely written report to get through he figured it was a good idea to get comfortable. He flicked through the pages, making sure there were only three, and then started again at the beginning.

The young man made his way through the halls, stopping and turning around when a rather nice pair of legs passed by. He slowed down, walking backwards as he watched that pair of legs and the backside that went with them saunter in the opposite direction. He clicked his tongue and turned back around. He stopped only once more to get directions and then made his way to a certain door and rapped upon it three times in succession.

"Come in!" The Cyclone Wingleader peered over his knees at the opening door to see if it was somebody he needed to move for.

Curious - not somebody he recognised, and he was fairly good with faces and names. Young, dragonrider knots, bronze thread in them. And an attitude. Couldn't be mistaken. K'hetah chuckled to himself and moved his feet off the desk and straightened up.

"Hello."

"Hey." The younger bronzerider's gaze flicked over the table and both eyebrows shot up. "Gee, guess you're really strapping for something to do, huh?"

"I'm - I have plenty to do, if you must know." K'hetah looked across his perfectly bare desk and was, as always, pleased to see the large expanse of complete unobscured wood. He waved the pages in his hand.
"See?"

"You call that plenty to do?" The younger bronzerider gaped at K'hetah, aghast at the suggestion that such a measly pile be called 'plenty'.
"You must be pulling my leg. I mean, if you really had so much to do, your desk would be covered!"

"I do the work as it comes in and don't let it settle," the Wingleader said, glaring at the younger bronzerider and wondering why he was bothering to justify himself. "Are you here for any particular reason?"

"Come on! No one keeps up with their work _that_ quickly!" The young bronzerider grinned, then handed him the package that he had brought.
"Someone sent this to you, hence why I'm here. Maybe you'll actually have something to do now, eh?"

"I _have_ something to do," K'hetah said huffily, taking the package from the younger man and waving a dismissive hand in his direction.
"And now you can go off and get about whatever business you are supposed to be doing."

"Yes sir!" The bronzerider laughed, gave a haughty salute, then turned on his heel and sauntered off, pausing only to take a gaze at another passing beauty before disappearing down the hall.
