"There you are." Sorsha beamed when Railen came in through the door. She'd been down to stores and picked up a few things and had time to clean up a bit while he was gone. She had to admit there was something exhilarating about setting up your own place. "Welcome home!"
"Hey, this looks good." Railen let his eyes wander about their small quarters. Small, yes, but theirs, together. That was what was important to him. He turned his smile upon the girl and stepped forward to give her a hug. "Welcome home to you too."
Sorsha got up on her toes to give him a quick kiss. "So what did Ylisahn want to talk to you about?"
"Oh, she just wanted to make sure I was prepared for the consequences of you impressing." Railen chuckled softly. "I think she was afraid I had the wrong idea."
She eyed her soon to be husband, "And did you?"
"Yes." Railen nodded slowly. "I told her that you are family, so if you impress, I will stay as well."
"And that was a wrong idea?" She replied as she slid her hand underneath his tunic and brushed his bare skin with her fingers. She loved the feel of his skin and took any excuse to feel that close to him.
"I think she just wanted to make sure I understood how things would work." Her touch was arousing. Railen pressed against her, wondering if they should take advantage of the time they had before dinner.
Sorsha allowed herself a moment against him, then pulled back. "Let me show you what I picked up from stores."
"Okay." To be honest, Railen would have preferred to pursue a different type of activity, but he supposed all in good time. "What did you find?"
She took a few steps and reached over the couch, "Pillows! Aren't they cute?"
Railen chuckled softly. He didn't think pillows were anything to get excited about and he thought Sorsha's enthusiasm was cuter than the pillows. "They're nice. Did you manage to find linens to match?"
Sorsha sighed in disgust. "They aren't _bed_ pillows, they're _couch_ pillows." She put them down and took a few steps towards their bed pulling him with her. "But I did find some nice linens, dyed lavender."
"Lavender's nice. I'm glad you didn't get pink." Of course, they were only bed linens so it wasn't like anyone would necessarily see them. "If you like, we can break them in."
"Sounds fun, but first you have to help me put them on." the girl teased as she playfully grabbed one and tossed it at him.
Railen deftly caught the folded sheet. "It will work up our appetite if nothing else. And the sooner we finish, the sooner we can try them out."
"We have a couch that needs tried out too you know." Sorsha suggested playfully, "And two chairs, and a rug..."
"Well then," Railen grasped her hand and tugged her toward the bed, "We had better get started."
