Description: Thanja invites N'vanik to the Hall's celebration, and he asks her a favor.

It was only a short walk up to the Weyr proper, thought Thanja as she waved to the watchrider and her dragon on her way to the Weyrleader's office. Indeed, it wasn't much longer before she was there, knocking on the door.
"Come in!" N'vanik called. Who was it now?
"Weyrleader N'vanik?" called out the Master Printer as she opened the door. "I'm Master Thanja, Harper Hallsecond, can I have a moment of your time?"
He leaned back in his chair. "Sure."
"I just thought I'd come up here and introduce myself," she said as she entered the office.
"Well, nice to meet you, then."
A man of few words, thought Thanja as she took in his words. "I also brought invitations for you and your Weyrwoman for the upcoming concert for Turn's End down at the Hall."
As long as it was just watching and not socializing, it wouldn't be bad. "I'll pass it on to her, though I don't know if we can attend the whole thing."
"We'd be honoured with your company if you can make it," Thanja replied courteously. The Weyr may have plans of it's own for Turn's End, or so she supposed. "You are welcome to bring a guest," gossip had spread of the Weyrleader's mate as far as the Hall.
"The person I have in mind might not be up for it, but I'll ask her anyway," he said.
"They will be welcome."
"Thank you." He hesitated a moment before asking, "I don't suppose I could ask a favor?"
"Of course," Thanja smiled.
"I know you'll all be busy, but could you spare a Journeyman on Turn's End? Later in the evening?"
"Harper or Printer?"
"A Harper. Even a senior apprentice would do. Someone that can sing and play gitar." He felt a little embarrassed asking, but he wanted to do this, if it was possible.
"I can think of sevaral possibilities there."
"Great. I'd only need them for a candlemark or two, and I'd pay them a fair commission for their time."
"I'm sure they would appreciate it."
He leaned forward a little. "So, you'll get someone for me?"
"I'll send word up once I've organised it."
"Thank you."
"It will be our pleasure, Weyrleader."
