A Willing Student

Writers: Paula, Chelle

Characters: Qorri, N'mor
Description: Qorri and N'mor slip away during the Hatching Feast aka another one bites the dust.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 18 of Turn 6

The Headwoman had enjoyed her time at the hatching. Her crews were already assigned for cleanup so once the feast was set out, she found herself standing at the edge of the dance floor. Qorri didn't dance, not really. She was usually happy to watch from the sidelines. Her eyes rested on a nice, young rider she hadn't had pleasurable company with yet.

N'mor wasn't dancing just now either. He was sipping ale and watching. He had danced with Aishara earlier, but that greenrider had alot of takers.

She took her time, but finally she came up alongside him. "Having a good night, rider?"

"Yes, in general, Headwoman. I have seemed to fall into a quiet spell just now," N'mor replied.

"Don't have a dancing partner then? Shame. A fine young man like you." Qorri had a good view of his backside just then that she was admiring discreetly.

"Would you like to dance with me, headwoman?" N'mor asked, bolstered with the drink.

"I'm not much of a dancer, really, but if you wanted..." She indicated that a chat elsewhere would be better.

"That's okay, if you don't want to, I'm not the best of dancers myself," N'mor said. He gave the headwoman a proper look. She had to be around his mother's age, well, maybe younger and while she wasn't as beautiful as some greenriders he had met, she wasn't without attraction.

"Walk with me," she urged, pulling him through some of the crowd. Qorri hated to talk where others listened.

"At your service," N'mor replied with a small grin on his face.

Once they reached a nice quiet back corner, she turned to face him. "So N'mor, do you have plans for...after the dancing?"

"No, ma'am. I was just planning to have a good time and see what happens," N'mor replied. Of course, he had hoped to hook up with someone but most still seemed to think him too young.

"Hm, funny I was thinking the same thing. Would you care to have a good time together?" Qorri reached a hand out to tug at the bottom of his tunic for a moment.

"You don't think I'm too young?" N'mor blurted out with surprise.

"Not at all," she said honestly.

Well, N'mor had nothing against attention from an older lady. "I'm okay with it if you are," he smiled.

"Do you want to wait or go now?" Her eyes had met his and Qorri was thinking already of what was to come.

"We can go now," N'mor replied.

Leading the way through the Weyr, Qorri took him in directions that only she had access to. When they had reached her quarters, she unlocked and opened the door and let him in. She had no windows and the place was deep inside the Weyr, close to her kitchens and storerooms so she could be woken at a moment's notice. There were a few glows turned, but she moved a few more. It was neat and tidy, with carefully chosen furniture. It was nothing like the Weyrwoman's weyr, but it was indeed befitting her station. "Welcome.."

"My pleasure," N'mor stepped in and looked around him. His heart was thudding so loudly in his chest he was worried she might hear it and his palms were getting sweaty.

She closed the door behind them and then gestured for him to make himself comfortable. "So, how many women have you kissed then?"

"I can't be sure, but if I don't count mother and sisters, less than ten, more than five," N'mor replied and obeyed her gestures, taking a seat.

"Hmmm..are you good at it?" She approached him slowly, then stopped to stand between his open legs.

"I probably need more practice," N'mor said, his tone inviting her to teach him.

She leaned in, bringing her lips to his. The anticipation always hit her at first, then as she got to know her partner, it mellowed into satisfaction. "Like this..."

N'mor was an apt student.
