Walking into the infirmary, her eyes tried to spot someone that wasn?t busy who could help her. Rhosyn didn?t want to interrupt anyone, but she had heard from one of the Lower Caverns women that there was something she could do. Frowning, the Weyrwoman spotted a familiar head. ?Lokkun??

The aforementioned blond looked almost fashionable today. He was wearing a medium blue short-sleeved tunic and pants with red piping, yellow boots and gloves, and his headband. At the moment, he was leaning against a wall, reading a mocked-up patient's chart in an attempt to make a diagnosis. However, he had not come up with anything concrete, and it was getting annoying. Lokkun welcomed the interrupting voice, looking up to find the Weyrwoman. "Oh, hello again," he said, bowing slightly. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"I hope so. My stomach is itching. There has to be something to put on it to fix it yes?" It seemed like healers should have something. She thought Reeva had mentioned something. She looked back at Lokkun, expecting him to produce a fix for her problem because this was beyond uncomfortable.

Lokkun paused and studied Rhosyn for a moment, trying to think why her stomach might be itching. It occurred to him a beat later, and he nodded. "I can find you a lotion to help with that. Even an apprentice can take care of it," he said. "Are there any herbs you're allergic to?"

"Not that I know of." Her eyes watched him as she considered the boy and his usefulness.

"All right then. Please come with me," Lokkun invited, and lead the way to one of the storage rooms. For itching and other skin issues women ran into when pregnant, there was always dragonstongue, hemp, flax, and other such soothing herbs. And if he remembered the last count correctly, there would most assuredly be some left.

She couldn't help but pick up on some of the rather colorful smells while they went through the Infirmary. Rhosyn knew that she was more sensitive to that sort of thing more than before. After passing the morning sickness stage, though, she didn't have nausea that often which was a blessing. Entering the storage room, though, she was assailed by many smells and had to step back and out of the enclosed space.

The blond didn't notice, instead lightly running his fingertips over several jars and reading the labels on the shelves. Finding one that was satisfactory, he picked up one of the largest and turned around, ready to offer it to the Weyrwoman. On finally realizing she wasn't there, Lokkun blushed faintly and walked back to the door. "Here," he said, offering the jar. "This should produce the results you need."

"How often do I use it?" she asked, looking at the jar as she turned it over in her hands.

"Once a morning after bathing, but it can be used as often as itching or discomfort occurs," Lokkun explained. "This is a very gentle, but very effective treatment, and it should last you a while."

"Allright, we'll give it a shot. Thanks." Rhosyn gave a small smile before turning about to get somewhere where she could put some of the stuff on.

As soon as Rhosyn was gone, something occurred to Lokkun and he started chuckling to himself. The symptoms on the mocked-up chart were describing pregnancy.
