Pierka took a deep breath and ran her fingers through her unbound hair
Liddith was giving her a headache with her proddy attitude. She
herself knew she had been acting the same way had nearly snapped
T'nom's head off earlier in the Healers office.

She blew out the breath puffing out her cheeks in the process and
rubbing her upper arms. **Hurry up and get it over with already** she
thought at the glowing green.

She was a bit startled at the scream of defiance that made her heart
pound before Liddith flung herself from the top of the wall and into
the weyrbowl.

Pierka knew better than to run though she felt the urgency of her
lifemate's need. When she finally arrived, there were already several
riders waiting.

Sh'dori stared the green's rider with disbelief. Not only was she
young but also obviously pregnant. **You're kidding me, she's just a
kid, a pregnant kid!**

Rahmuth was determined to chase though. He only cared about Liddith,
not about her rider.

Kedvencth eyed the young green with lust. A finally, a Flight N'mor
wouldn't mind to win. Although he had doupts concerning her pregnancy.
What if he hurt her or the baby inside?

X'ian had no such doupt. He was healer and knew that only limitation
was...related to in what position she was comfortable. Camyth fanned
his wings and tried to catch Liddith's attention.

Mayfeth arrived on the scene, rustling his long, midnight blue wings
against his back. The big blue was young and the call of a green was
too alluring for him to pass up. S'avn had been doing some work in the
dragon infirmary when he felt the shift. It was hard to describe how
it felt when you _knew_ your dragon was going to participate in a
mating flight. It was as if someone flipped the switch inside of his
body and he went from normal to lusty in zero seconds flat. Leaving
the infirmary, S'avn headed for the greenrider.

T'nom was surprised by Taldeth's desire. He had just begun working on
a special project when the bronze's thoughts and feelings swarmed
around him. He didn't question it. Just left what he was doing and
followed the path laid before him. It wasn't until he arrived there
that he realized _who_ Taldeth was chasing. He didn't have time for
any other thoughts as Taldeth's passion overwhelmed him.

}:I've flown you well before Liddith. Let me fly high with you
again,:{ the bronze crooned to the glowing green.

}:Liddith will be mine!:{ Xemroth roared his challenge.

**Pierka?!** Z'ku thought as a wave of lust rolled through him. Every
time he thought he'd gotten used to weyrlife, something happened to
make him feel odd. Like feeling lust for a close friend pregnant by
another man. As he hurried to join the circle of men, he hoped that
whoever won didn't hurt her.

And with a scream Liddith jumped into the air and took off like an
arrow over the sea. }:Chase if you will. I want the best.:{

Pierka smoothed nervous hands over her belly and then gave herself up
to the bond.

Rahmuth roared and launched to the air.

Kedvencth reminded silent, but his large, bronze wings pumped
furiously. He was fast to gain altitude although his flight speed
wasn't as fast as the blues.

Camyth shot to the air so quickly that he almost collided with the
slower bronze. He received a warning growl from Ked and had to swerve
sharply away from him. It made him lost ground right from the start.

Mayfeth needed no encouragement from the green to chase. The midnight
blue dragon vaulted into the skies after Liddith, his eyes fixated
upon her glowing beauty. S'avn had no qualms about Pierka being
pregnant or the rider of Liddith. Perhaps it was the flight but her
pregnancy took away none of the greenrider's attractiveness.

Taldeth joined in the chase eagerly. His wings beating fast to keep
pace with the smaller, more agile green. He wanted her in so many
ways. The passion running through him was like a hot fire that branded
T'nom as well. The pair both wanted to win this particular race.

Xemroth twisted past an older bronze and kept the lovely green in
sight. }:I will fly you well, and my rider will be good to yours.:{
Z'ku was one with his dragon, reaching out for Pierka, wanting her as
much as Xemroth wanted Liddith. }:Let us show you.:{

Liddith twisted and turned and dodged a very persistent blue but her
dodge put her right in the path of Taldeth and this time she couldn't
dance away.

Pierka at one with her lifemate gave herself up without additional
thought to the winner.

Camyth bellowed with disappointed and turned to return home.
He wasn't only one, although Ked remainded silent and Rahmuth was
veteran of too many flights to really mind. He'll succeed next time,
or the next time after next time..

Mayfeth left the flight with a huff. He was disappointed over the loss
but not heartbroken since he was not really attached to the green or
her rider in any way. }:Next time.:{ He promised S'avn as he flew back
to their weyr.

Taldeth roared with satisfaction as he wrapped his wings around
Liddith as she'd curved into his path. T'nom took Pierka into his arms
as well.

Z'ku had a hard time separating his feelings from Xemroth's. He turned
from the circle, growling with frustration. Everything seemed fuzzy
and distant and he stumbled into the arms of a woman. She ran her
hands over him, murmuring, and led him away.
