Description: A new experience for the young bluerider.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 6, day 3 of Turn 7
Mayfeth had been in a lot of flights lately and so far he had won one
that belonged to Malyna. S'avn had enjoyed it, he'd enjoyed waking up
beside of the lovely young woman as well. At the same time he didn't
really understand the fuss that everyone made over flights. **I mean,
it was good but it wasn't earth shattering or anything.**
It was with this attitude that he entered the flight room as Mayfeth,
once again, decided to fly after another green in the Weyr. **Ah,
great.** S'avn thought as he stepped into the room to see that the
green's rider was a man. S'avn counted himself fortunate not to have
won the other flights that had belonged to male greenriders. He just
didn't feel... comfortable around them. Nor did he have any idea
_what_ he was suppose to do with another man. He was weyrbred, sure,
but he'd been too busy chasing around his brownrider brother to be
bothered by homosexual relationships or how they worked.
He relaxed back against a wall, figuring that Mayfeth would probably
lose anyway and he could just slip out when it was over.
Layth had been proddy for a week and N'yil was certainly happy she'd
finally awoken ready to rise. He scanned the room to see the usual
group of blue and brown riders gathering. But his smile tilted at the
young one near the door. **Interesting,** he thought. He rode blue but
was acting like a brown rider all stiff and trying to feign
disinterest. **Ah, just as well. Those young ones don't usually win
Layth's flights. She's pretty wily.** Though she did show a marked
preference for blues. So did he for that matter. He gave the young one
a slow wink.
S'avn stared at the greenrider. **Did he... Did he just _wink_ at
me?** He averted his eyes to the floor, and then closed them
completely, preferring instead to focus on his dragon in the air than
on the confusing whirl of feelings that the greenrider gave him.
"Priceless," N'yil mused with a twitch of his lips. He turned and gave
himself up to the flight, but not before thinking how very cute that
reaction had been.
Layth screamed her challenge to the males surrounding her and lead
them a flirty green dance in the skies above the Weyr.
Mayfeth eagerly launched into the air, sprouting declarations of
Layth's beauty as he jostled into place in the sky behind her with the
other males.
Layth led the males a merry chase and then turned and put herself in
the path of a lovely blue. N'yil swayed into the arms of the blue's
rider... S'avn.
Mayfeth bugled his triumph as he locked talons with Layth and twined
their necks together. The blue was estatic that he had caught another
green, and this one was especially lovely.
On the ground S'avn muttered a curse, but found his body inevitably
drawn to that of the older greenrider. His arms wrapped around N'yil
as the room cleared of the other chasers. S'avn had never been with a
man before, but the lust of the flight drove him to replicate the
passion of his dragon.

N'yil stretched and smiled as pleased as his lifemate with her choice.
He lifted a hand to caress the young man's face and gave him a soft
kiss. "Lovely flight," he said.
S'avn had been feeling so satiated and _good_ but the moment N'yil
spoke his eyes flew open and all of those good feelings fled. Color
instantly flooded his cheeks and he stiffened, finding the situation
incredibly awkward. He'd never woken up beside of a man before. He'd
never done _anything_ with a man before.
N'yil was experienced and recognized the reaction. Yet he continued to
smile gently. HIs hand moved from the face to the shoulder and then
his back. "I'm N'yil," he said softly.
He felt as if his body was betraying him at N'yil's light touch,
"Um... I'm Savn." S'avn supposed that N'yil was a good looking man,
okay, _really_ good looking if he were noticing, but he wasn't. At
least he was trying _not_ to.
The dark good looks of the younger rider were right in the range that
N'yil liked best. In fact he usually had his choice of bedmates and
he'd pick this one in a heartbeat. "Very nice to meet you S'avn."
"I'm sorry if it wasn't... if I... um.." S'avn swallowed. He usually
never had this much trouble speaking his mind, in fact, he was often
in trouble because of how blunt he could be, "I have never done this
before... Well, not with a man anyway. So if it sucked.... Sorry."
"No need to worry. It was a flight and they're always wonderful.
You're quite handsome you know."
S'avn licked his lips, "I am? I mean...I know." He felt as if his
equilibrium had been thrown off by the very attractive nude man beside
him, "I should," he sat up, "be going."
"Are you sure?" N'yil said suggestively. It was obvious from his state
that he was ready for more if the young bluerider was interested. His
hand wandered to S'avn's thigh to see if the kid would bolt or accept
the feelings he thought were racing through him. He expected the quick
exit from a brown or bronzerider but blues... that was another story.
No, he wasn't sure. There were so many conflicting feelings inside of
him. He didn't know why, he rode a blue dragon, everyone knew what
that meant. He had just spent so much time trying to be something that
he wasn't.... The hand on his thigh felt warm. The flight had been one
thing, it had been pure instinct, but this was different. Now they
were both fully awake and cognizant and S'avn didn't have the first
idea of what to do with a man, "I don't know how..."
N'yil's smile broadened, if the guy was willing... "No worries," he
said and moved closer to bring S'avn's head down to his for a deep and
passionate kiss. "I'll show you."
