Yumath stretched slowly as he approached the bevy of dragons.
Conversation was surprisingly lively between the group and as he
settled next to a rather lovely green, the bronze blinked slowly as he
realized the conversation was about their riders. }: Yours actually
does that? Two at once? :{
}:Yes,:{ the green answered. }:But I do not understand it. Only one
male can catch.:{
}:Humans are different,:{ Shalith said, feeling smart and wanting to
show off. }:They do many things we do not. Sometimes the females chase
and catch.:{
}:Really?:{ Liddith asked. }:Mine doesn't seem to catch much.:{
}:Mine does.:{ Shalith stretched and shifted to better catch the sun.
}:She just caught the Candidate she likes.:{
Yumath spread a wing over one of the greens, getting comfortable. }:
Mine used to fly many, but mostly flies Quinneth now. But he would
like to fly Panitath's. He thinks about it sometimes :{ He tilted his
head at Liddith. }: Why not? Ours likes to catch. Like Shalith's. Did
yours like flying the Candidate? :{
}:Yes. It was very good. Liddith, you should see if yours might like
to catch him. He made my rider feel good. Maybe he can make yours feel
good, too.:{ Shalith helpfully sent an image of Jenackt to several
nearby dragons.
She used to think a lot about Taldeth's but now she thinks more about
Xemroth's. I think she'll catch him, he makes her feel good."

Loseth had been listening, half asleep, but now he cocked his head at
Shalith. }:Yours caught N'vanik's favorite?:{
They passed images back and forth. }:Yes, that one,:{ Shalith confirmed.
}:Mine wishes Taldeth's would fly him,:{ a blue said. }:He thinks he
is very handsome. My rider thought about him when he lost the flight
yesterday. Why do humans do that? Pretend someone is a different
person when they fly together?:{

Perhaps Mine should fly all of yours. Except yours. :{ He nosed at the
blue. }: He likes females only. Or maybe the boy can fly all of yours and
make them all feel good. :{
The conversation was interesting and since there were no weyrling
dragons to be minding, Chaneth joined in. }:Mine wants to fly one who
does not have a
dragon,:{ he said. }:But he is not doing it yet for some reason. It's very
silly.:{
Donneth was mildly amused at the conversation, and surprised at Yumath's
participation. }:Mine says flying his mate is best, and now they have a
hatchling:{
}:Humans are strange,:{ Shalith told Chaneth. She rumbled
thoughtfully. }:Though they do get to rise and catch more than we do.
If we did that, we would be tired all the time. I do not know how they
do it.:{
}:But it's very nice to feel it through them. Maybe having so many
ground-rises is their way of making up for not being able to be free
in the sky.:{ Chaneth pondered.
}: I would not mind if I chased more. :{ Yumath interjected. }: I
rather enjoy it.:{
}:You could chase me,:{ Liddith preened. }:I like bronze. Loseth
caught me once. He was very sneaky.:{

Chaneth wanted to laugh at the bronzes and browns. They were larger
and slower - he was quick and fast. }:Not if I leave you all in the
dust.:{
Liddith sniffed. }:You all can try and I'll see who I like.:{ She
stretched her peridot green wings and turned to catch the sun on her
other side.
