How to put a picture in the gallery (administrators)
When a picture for the gallery is received from a member, the first thing to do is check that it is suitable for the website. It should be viewable by people of all ages and appropriate to the setting of Triad Weyrs. It should also not be an obvious copy of artwork by anyone other than the member who submitted it unless written permission to use it is supplied.
Uploading Images to the Main Website
- Click the "Gallery" tab
- Click "+Picture"
- Type in the Name of your photo (ex: Cyradis)
- Use the "Choose File" button to select your photo.
- Select the "Owner" of the photo and which "Gallery" it should be placed in.
- Display "Yes"
- Enter information in the description box such as
Weyrwoman of Dolphin Cove Weyr~*~
Created using ______________ by ___________
Click "Submit"
At this point, you will now be able to edit the "icon" by dragging the gold box, or making it smaller.
Adding Pictures to Profiles
Once this information has been submitted, the picture should be visible in the gallery!
It is possible to add pictures to location and persona profiles - just navigate to the required persona or location profile and click on the red tab marked "Picture" (for personas) or "Add Articles/Maps" (for locations). A select box should appear allowing you to choose pictures to add to the profile.
