What should I send to the mailing list?

1. Posts - obviously the main reason for the list is for stories. Stories should be complete with headers, dates, and signatures. They should also have the correct subject. Check the Posting Format FAQ for more information.
2. Email changes - the only way to get everyone to see them is to email the main list obviously, so these are welcomed. Please don't email hop (change emails every 2 weeks), but otherwise, this is fine.
3. When all other avenues of contacting a member fail (private email, IM, Discord, message forums) have failed, a member can email the main list to try to find a member whose email has quit working or has simply disappeared on them.
4. Leader types should label all non-post email they send as OOC: or some other designation to indicate it is not a story.

What should NEVER be sent to the list?

1. Replies to any member's post to the main list. The list is set to reply to the sender for a reason, so please do not type in the list name to make it come to the list instead.
2. Any questions, complaints, etc - these should be sent to the Triad Council.
3. Junk mail/chain letters - email of this sort will actually land you in trouble (the others will just get you a nudge from the Member Communications seat to remember courtesy). Sending a chain letter, junk mail, virus alert, joke, or any other sort of spam to the list will result in an immediate warning from the Council.

Triad's Adult List

• For adult rated posts, Triad maintains an adults only mailing list. Posts sent to the Adult list should be rated as Adult, and only members over 18 will be able to see them.

Guidelines

Guidelines for the adult list are as follows:

• The adult list is a list on which the PG-17 rules are a bit more lax.
• Sexual intercourse does not need to be censored on the list, though there are still general rules of decency (such as absolutely no detailed accounts of child molestation or rape). Basically it is a list to make you blush, but not to offend.
• These posts are not added to the website, nor do they count for reqs or timelining, though feel free to send edited versions to the main list that fall within the PG-17 bounds.
