Early in m11 apprentice Chalzie tries to talk to fellow apprentice Alydelle during their meal but the latter apprentice was too worried about other things to participate in a conversation.

In the second sevenday of the month Swift and Kateena are making plans for after the arrival of their baby, and wondering if the arrival of a new Hallmaster will make a difference to Kateena's returning to work.

Ednan, one of the oldest apprentices at the Hall, talked with one of the newest, Chalzie, about the new Hallmaster, the old one, and their own plans for their future in the craft.

Day 15 saw the arrival at the Dolphin Hall of the new Hallmaster. Leisenn and her dolphin Tu were met by the Master of Apprentices, Mahantan, and his dolphin Forrel. Leisenn then visits the retiring Hallmaster, Mosler, to find out how bad his illness is, and what his plans for the future are.

On the day the new Hallmaster arrives Kateena suffered another fainting spell, this time while out swimming with apprentice Alydelle and the dolphins. The apprentice and dolphins got the journeywoman to shore and Alydelle ran for help, directing Swift to his wife's side as she went.
It looks like craft work is out for Kateena for a while.

Apprentice Chalzie and the dolphins manage to distract greenrider Aileyan after her argument with Ednan.

Journeywoman Trellyn finds Swift checking the firelizard eggs after having to move the basket from its fireside location.

Toward the end of the sevenday Leisenn finds Alydelle out late at night - saying good night to the dolphins. The new Hallmaster isn't sure that it's right for apprentices to be wandering around so late, but she doesn't say anything to the girl but perhaps she should have because the next night Aly is in journeyman's Mordin's rooms having a drink with him and the smithcrafter is not slow in taking advantage of the situation.

Early in the fourth sevenday Master Mahantan takes the very senior apprentice, Ednan, to ask about his recent distraction from his studies but the apprentice won't say any more than that the reason for his distraction is personal!

On Day 25 the new Hallmaster replaces the usual master for one of the apprentice classes and finds some of her pupils bullying Alydelle. She warns the offending youngsters and tries to get Aly to agree to confide in somebody if there is any more trouble. The next day the Master of Apprentices also has a chance to talk with Aly when he finds her out swimming with the dolphins.

On the last restday of the month Mordin manages to convince Alydelle to see him again but when she is reluctant to be intimate with him again he refuses to take no for an answer.

There were 14 posts to the Dolphin Hall in August, which is a good result for any location. Those 14 posts involved seven different writers and an even larger number of characters.

Still running in September 08 is the Dolphin Hall as a bonus location for posting - all posts set at the Hall will attract 3 bonus posting marks for each writer. Stockpile those marks for a rainy day by posting in one of Triad's most versatile locations.
