Physical Description of Persona:
Aydhara is the spitting image of her mother. She's also on the smaller side, and what she lacks in height she makes up for in personality. Her eyes are the same warm brown, and her long auburn hair is usually braided and tied back in a bun. She's curvy and strong, almost entirely due to the full-body determination (and some spite) she has to keep up with her brother and the other boys. She has her parents' love of clothes and enjoys bright colors and fancy embroidery, and likes to make her own in her spare time. She has a few scars, here and there, from being a feral child running about High Reaches Weyr with minimal oversight. There's at least one scar from when her brother bit her during a childish scuffle.

Emotional Description of Persona:
There are a lot of big feelings packed into such a small person. Aydhara's always been that way; second-child energy, maybe, or a drive to succeed and step out of her parents' shadows. A tough feat to do, with a bronzerider father and a Weyrwoman Second mother. She's determined it'll happen if she works hard enough, and so she works _hard_, though her focus is not always productive nor particularly helpful. She goes all in on pranks and will absolutely escalate in any kind of competition.

Like her parents, she loves being the center of attention and had a wide circle of friends back in High Reaches. She knows that some of it is because of her family legacy, sure, but she's warm and happy enough to bring just about any age-mate into her circle of friends.She's not worried about making friends at Barrier Lake-- friends just seem to find her. She enjoys flirting with both men and women, though her preference is primarily women. Most men are nice, in their ways, but have you seen _women_.

History of Persona:
Aydhara was only nine months old when her mother impressed gold Tymborikath. Due to this, her formative memories are primarily of her father, as he took over caretaking as her mother went through Weyrling Training and then mentorship as a junior goldrider (and she still is very much a Daddy's girl). She was raised in the depths of High Reaches Weyr, surrounded by a large extended family and under the less-than-watchful eye of her dragonrider parents. Her and the other weyrbrats ran amuck in the Lower Caverns until she turned twelve, where she immediately moved into the Candidate Barracks.

And there she stayed. Many of her friends Impressed ahead of her, and while it stung initially, watching them practically glowing with joy at their Hatching Feasts made her realize that celebrating and supporting them felt better than sulking about what could have been. Besides, her brother was still in the Candidate Barracks with her, so she still had someone to bother and compete with.

When her mother interviewed for a few Weyrwoman Second positions on the Southern Continent, she wasn't entirely sure she would go with her. Her grandparents and uncles and cousins were still at High Reaches, along with all her friends. But her father and brother were excited to go, and when Aydhan announced that she had accepted a position at Barrier Lake Weyr, she reluctantly packed her things to go with them. She'd been unsuccessful at Impressing at High Reaches; maybe all she needed was a change of scenery to Impress. And besides, she'd heard that a girl Impressed blue on the Southern Continent.

Description of Dragon:
He's a big boy. A hefty, solid, chonky, robust, sturdy, all-around big boy.

Rath is like his sire, but smaller. He's large for a blue, though not so thick that he loses any of his agility in the air. He too has a hard time keeping the weight off and is prone to snacking, so Aydhara will need to work extra hard to keep him fit (and keep him from trying to fight Avicath for Tymborikath's leftovers). He is a rich, deep blue, and is overall a very handsome young dragon.

His flaws are his personality. He is instilled with the confidence that he is The Best without proof nor self-reflection. He would only accept The Best, and so of course his rider is The Best, too. She is the most wonderful, perfect, flawless young lady who can do absolutely nothing wrong. And Faranth forbid anyone suggest she _did_ do something wrong. He isn't afraid to defend her honor. He is her greatest fan and closest confidante, and he takes that duty seriously. Seriously enough that he may remain a little jealous of her other relationships. He is here to help, and his encouragement pulls at Aydhara's already obvious lack of impulse control, and it's anyone's guess if she's going to learn how to rein in both of their bad habits.

Crafter Slate, Journeyman Baker, Blue Firelizard: aged 0, hatched m5 d1
Slate is a small, sleek thing, with a cool slate-blue hide that he's named after. He's built long and angular, with a naturally tiny, scowling expression. He's a firelizard with a one track mind; Aydhara is his _person_, and while he's the sweetest gentleman and only a little spicy to her, everyone else can take a flying leap. His grumpy demeanor is only softened by Aydhara’s presence, and even then, he’s not the most openly affectionate companion.
