Physical Description of Persona:
Serisa is 5’ 2,” with brown eyes and straight auburn hair she keeps long and usually wears in two braids. She’s thin almost to the point of looking frail and is hoping to build muscle as she builds her endurance in the water.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Serisa doesn’t like being alone. While this is something she’s working on, it means others’ actions will frequently determine how she spends her time. For example, if no one wants to go for a morning swim with her, she won’t go. Or, she’ll tag along to a party rather than studying so she isn’t left behind. This need for company means that, while Serisa is not the most talkative person, she does end up knowing a lot of people.
Serisa feels at home as a dolphineer and, while she is doing fine in her studies, feels an undercurrent of anxiety that she’ll never actually advance in the craft. She’s pretty good at managing this anxiety but it will sometimes lead to her freezing during a test and not always performing at her best. Those moments further heighten the fear that she’s not good enough.
History of Persona:
Serisa was born to a family of fishers at a coastal minor hold on the Northern Continent. She spent much of her childhood in the water and, while she didn’t mind fishing, was always fascinated by dolphins. It took her some time to convince her parents to let her apprentice, but they finally agreed. It was a challenging adjustment to life at the Northern Dolphin Hall, but this was helped by her fast friendship with Tolnira. Tolnira’s mother, Tolna, became almost a surrogate mother to her and Serisa often joined family dinners with them and even some outings. With Tolna and Tolnira transferring to the Southern Dolphin Hall, it was an easy decision for Serisa to join them.
